Esta mujer lleva muchos años luchando contra las mafias de trata y la pornografía infantil. Su arma es el periodismo y ha sufrido mucho para llevar a cabo su tarea.

México es el segunda país más peligroso del mundo para poder ejercer el periodismo y el primero es Siria. En el 2017, 11 reporteros que investigaban el narcotráfico, mafia, corrupción, feminicio… fueron asesinados.

Lydia que tiene 55 años ha aprendido a vivir como corresponsal de guerra en su propio país. Ella estudió Arte en la Sorbona, trabajó en la producción de cine. A esta mujer, se le da bien hacer preguntas y escuchar a inocentes y culpables entre otras dotes. Gracias a ella, niños abusados y mujeres explotadas han sido liberados.

En el 2018 Lydia presento un libro titulado Ellos hablan donde hombres entre 15 y 70 años reflexionan sobre la masculinidad.

En cada libro que escribe su involucración es máxima asi como las investigaciones que hace. Se infiltra en el mundo del que va a escribir, vive como los protagonistas de su obra y se relaciona con gente de dicho mundo para poder entender mejor lo que ocurre y lo que se pasa por las cabezas de estas personas. Cierto es que conoce los barrios donde se ejerce la prostitución infantil y gente del negocio. La pregunta obligada es si ella los conoce, no los conoce el gobierno?. Es una humanista más que feminista que intenta entender antes de juzgar y lucha por causas mostrando al mundo lo que ocurre sin filtros ni visillos.

Cuando estuvo en España, comentó que si estuviera un par de meses en nuestro país intentaría investigar sobre el juez de La Manada: “Me gustaría saber cómo vive su vida privada un hombre que se atreve a ponerse una toga, representando al Estado español, y decir lo que dijo sobre la víctima”.

Ha tenido experiencias muy duras pero según ella, lo más cerca que estuvo del mal fue cuando, antes de entrevistar a las niñas y los niños víctimas de pornografía, tuvo que ver los videos, los abusos… fue indescriptible. Ahí pensó que era lo más cercano a la crueldad intencional pero un año después la torturaron ( en el 2005 tras la publicación de su libro sobre las redes de pederastia. Fue detenida por 10 personas, la trasladaron a Puebla en un trayecto que duró 20 horas. Durante este viaje no se le permitió comer ni comunicarse con nadie. En el camino fue víctima de tortura física y psicológica). En ese momento, se dio cuenta que aquellas personas no la torturaban por un mandato sino que ellos estaban disfrutando de ello. Sin embargo, las altas esferas estaban involucradas en esa detención. El motivo era que ella había roto las reglas, se metió con los jefes y eso era inaceptable.

Este post está basado en una entrevista que le hicieron a Lydia Cacho en mujerhoy el 24 de noviembre de 2018 y una de las preguntas era porque el negocio de la pornografía infantil  crecía de esa manera. Ella respondía que el tabú es el que da el dinero. Pero esos niños no solo provienen de exclusión social también hay jóvenes que por conseguir un simple móvil , ser modelos, cantantes… son captados por las redes sociales. Por ello, es tan importante controlar a los jóvenes y las herramientas que utilizan. Observar si lo que llevan encima ha sido proporcionado por la familia o no… control y dedicación.

Lydia hace una reflexión interesante que podría ayudarnos a entender según que comportamientos, eso no significa que los aceptemos .  “Los hombres no saben qué hacer  con la forma que tienen las mujeres hoy en vivir la sexualidad, el amor y el erotismo. Están cada vez más descolocados porque cambió todo el diálogo amoroso. Y de repente se encuentran paralizados…” “ .. si la mujer es tan independiente económicamente como yo- se preguntan- si es tan inteligente como yo, si es culta, viaja, es libre y ha tenido otros amantes, ¿Qué le puedo ofrecer? ¿es que no valgo nada?.

Pero cuando se le pregunta por una de sus amigas, Anna Politovskaya nos dice que ella nunca ha tenido miedo de huir para salvar su vida. Ella vive siempre con su pasaporte en mano pues más de una vez tuvo que salir de su país de manera urgente. Cuando alguien le dice que corre peligro se escapa… y todo eso, el no aferrarse a un idealismo y ser consciente de una realidad hace que este viva.

Creo que una mujer inteligente y reflexiva que habla de temas sociales tan importantes desde su profundidad, sin populismos y con la verdad por delante, merece ser mencionada y leída. No quiero considerarla una feminista porque , lamentablemente, esta palabra está perdiendo significado y valor de tanto usarlo indebidamente, ella es una humanista que si quiere cambiar las cosas y para ello hay que mostrarlas como son, con sus tonos oscuros, con profesionalidad, investigación e intentando entender al de al lado por muy inocente o culpable que sea.

She has had very hard experiences but according to her, the closest she got to evil was when, before interviewing the girls and boys who were victims of pornography, she had to watch the videos, the abuses ... it was indescribable. But when asked about one of her friends, Anna Politovskaya tells us that she has never been afraid to flee to save her life. She always lives with her passport in hand because more than once she had to leave her country urgently. When someone tells him that he is in danger, he escapes ... and all that, not clinging to an idealism and being aware of a reality makes him alive.

I think that an intelligent and thoughtful woman who speaks of social issues so important from her depth, without populism and with the truth ahead, deserves to be mentioned and read. I do not want to consider her a feminist because, unfortunately, this word is losing meaning and value from so much misuse, she is a humanist who does want to change things and for that you have to show them as they are, with their dark tones, with professionalism, research and trying to understand the one next door no matter how innocent or guilty he is.
