DIVING IN PROVIDENCE
I am well-deserved vacation. It is not right for me to say but it's true so I chose an idyllic location on the recommendation of a Colombian friend.
The place is the island of Providencia. It is not easy because you have to catch a plane to San Andrés Island and thence a plane to Providencia, a total of 20 minutes.

The trip was great no problems and no delays on airplanes, we'd never seen.
The island is a paradise, with only one road that goes around the island and has about 18km approx. It is an island populated greener than I've ever seen, with lush vegetation invites not leave to visit her and stay forever.
We arrived at the hotel-cabins, a Caribbean concept that had never experienced but I liked the system, especially since our cabin was oceanfront, so much so that to get to the beach for a swim was just giving 20 steps. Incredible !!

But the nicest thing is to sleep listening to the sea and its waves breaking on the shore. All night, all day, for me this is a pleasure that makes me positive energy load and forget about the obligations and regrets.

THE first day we started taking a good cup of coffee and a natural juice guanaba, then we went to the diving club and made our two morning dives .Do we were sure that await us experience because although we noted that the place was wonderful , we did not quite sure but the truth is that not disappointed.
The first dive was at Nick diving point where we were accompanied by gray and black fin sharks.
It was beautiful, not only by the color sponges and corals and sharks, had much life, brightly colored fish, especially small and others large enough mauve, if not everything around was spectacular !!.

Leaving surf was up and it was not easy to get into the boat but everything went well and end the dive left us dissappointed.
We return again to earth to change bottles and rest to start our second dive to the south of the island where the reef and make a shallow dive, taking advantage came several people who were making a diving course.
The round was moved, wind arose and had some waves with the speed of the boat was pounding.
We got to the point and lounged, since the indication was shooting us and wait for the rest of the group down. So we did. It was running so try snorkeling very attached to sand but without removing coming to the meeting point. Once there began to reach the group but decided to turn back to the first island of coral and sponge full of life and fish. That place was Raya Point, so called because it is common to see streaks and saw.
We dive to see the three small islands full of fish, sweet lips, corals, sponges and small drums with its mauve colors where electrical illuminating have seen.

After the dive, we went together but we expected a good wave and wait until the "newbies" will rise, that made demoráramos us for 20 minutes.
In the end, we went and experience worth it.
Upon returning, but made a nice sun surrounded by storms, rising and falling gusts large blanket of water. He then goes and sun, and so throughout the day. I never saw anything like it.

I have eaten and am sitting on the porch of the cabin watching the sea and its greatness, writing relaxing and watching a group of happy children, bathing under a downpour but do not care, laugh, play with the waves, and only have a bike and a ball, but enough to laugh, be strong and with great vitality. Here are no more, it is not needed. They are strong, vital and happy with very little.
We must take note of it but meanwhile, I'll also be happy watching this place that within three days is completed and have to go back to my reality.

Disfrutar!!!

REEF DIVING IN MALDIVES Hanifaru

Here's another sample immersion in Hanifaru, which as you know at this time is an idyllic spot for divers because in the monsoon, this place is a paradise for the blankets.
Due to the amount of plankton there, the blankets come close to eating and cleaned in the cleaning stations that are in the area.
In this case, I take to hang a couple of videos of blankets. The visibility was not good, as you know at this time but there is no doubt of its magnificence and elegance.

Following the example of marine life in the Maldives reefs and saw that my partner Antonio Blanco get it, with difficulties since the current and poor visibility hampered the operation, here are some videos for you to see the varieties.
In each video I give a name of a fish but as you can see, there are many more species that will delight.

I hope this way to show the wonders of Maldivian reefs you like it and you are interested. Enjoy!

Disfrutar!!!

It is also true that after 10 minutes, leaving this one days subsided somewhat rainy but calm sea.

MALDIVES THE LAND OF WONDERS : OBJECTIVE  MANTAS

A few days ago I returned from the Maldives, the wonderland . As always, never disappoints .
It is the third time I've come and it's always new, always discover something , you always see the place differently.
The reason for these trips is always the same , diving . I love it and I am practicing for 9 years. This year has been strange and we could make many dive trips but we have finally released the year.
It's a special trip because like the previous expedition travel has always been islands and funds on this trip in order are the Mantas.
On this cruise we agree with the biologist Guy Stevens , known for his studies on the blankets and their life cycles . At the moment Guy is doing his doctoral thesis on these spectacular animals and as we have in the expedition , some nights has delighted us with any conference.

He along with his team and in this case with the help of the ship Southern Cross led by Judith de la Rosa that serves Maldives diving organizing weekly tours , we aim avistarlas and track their movements in this era of Monsoon .
The highlight of sighting is Hanifaru Bay and is where the greatest concentration of animals of this species and the whale shark, we saw two years ago but this time it is not the goal.

To situate start explaining a bit about it though I'm sure many of you - you already know.
Maldives is composed of 26 atolls and 1190 islands. Of these islands , 200 of them are inhabited by Maldivians and between 110-115 are resorts. It is an independent country. They have 320,000 people and is the world's population with more mobiles per person.

Guy gave us some hints about the blankets , so we had a little idea of how they behave, as can recognize apareativos behaviors , etc ... for example, the part of the "belly" of the blanket is your fingerprint. No two are alike , each has unique markings or spots that help the biologist and his team to differentiate and even give them a name . All this control is carried by a softward that helps them keep track of them and take something like a statistical control population , how many there are , where they go, the years of life ...

He does not work alone , you have a computer at all times , controls the sea and avistarlas areas or follow them to know their customs and see their behavior. The leading association called MantasTrust and is supported and funded among others by the Four Seasons in the Maldives , actors , biologists, etc ...

The second day we did a night which helped with the lights of the ship and in a power which tend to go for the evening, we attracted with the great luck we were contemplating for more than four hours to 9 feet deep . Blankets were reef , spectacular and large .
Surprised to see them making loops with open mouth catching plankton. It was a show for eight blankets were sighted in an area of 10 sq mt ... we passed over the head, almost afeitándonos neoprene cap .
It was spectacular .
Then we went to another place where we could swim with them here's the video if you do clikc . I will see the end of filming with the neoprene . The week was fantastic but like all good things short .
The boat we knew it, we were in it two years ago and for its comfort and good management ( Judith de la Rosa ) , we decided to go back and live this new experience. It is a large and spacious boat where everyone feels at home. It also has a part where you have huge terrace with sun loungers , a bar and a jacuzzi .

The truth is that you can not ask for more but the weather was not always as we were in Monsoon season and you know one day good and a bad regular one but with storms that may surprise you at any time if you do click you can see the Antonio taxed video out of the immersion .
If you like you can dive and do not hesitate to come this is still a paradise.

BUCEO.MADIVARU RASHDOO-ATOLL MALDIVAS

BUCEO: MADIVARU RASHDOO-ATOLL

DIVING: MADIVARU RASHDOO-ATOLL
As you know we have been seeing Maldives diving and underwater wonders forever. Maldives never disappoints. This is one of the most interesting dives we did. We went whale sharks and we knew we would find white tips and gray. So it was and here's a link to watch the video (Rashdoo atoll 16).
It was a great dive, full of life on the reefs although we found a little stream. Life was pretty spectacular, as you can see.
Besides sharks, tuna found, skates and rays, reef fish. We could not believe supply to look for a side that it was necessary to look to the other not to lose any time, nor was offering panoramic to us.

Fantastic!

SUBMARINISMO: NORFEU I Y II

BUCEO EN NORFEU I Y II

DIVING Norfeu I AND II
Recently I hung the dives we did in Cap Norfeu but there's more to show for this area which is divided into several dives as The Fraire, Norfeu I and II.
In these three dives we saw, apart from the already shown, morays, nudibranchs, bream, grouper, scorpion And of course, a view of the cave which I spoke, but the nicest part was not left the vault.
Anyway, do you linco the videos so you can see a sample of each species sighted. Hope you like.

BUCEO EN COSTA BRAVA: CAP NORFEU ( LA TRONA)

BUCEO CAP NORFEU: LA TRONA ( video 1)
Saludos .

CAP NORFEU DIVING. LA TRONA
The other day, I present the path Norfeu Cap. Today I present Cap Norfeu to compare submarine  beauties.
As you know the Costa Brava, is great for diving, may not have too much life when compared to other parts of the world but because of its topography, which continues until the depth of the sea, makes it interesting and are true wonders. If you go by boat you will have the opportunity to see the number of faults that each mountain is making the picture even more beautiful and therefore more interesting.
On the 10th of September, we did a dive to "LA TRONA" is a relatively easy dive if conditions are good and we had.
We got off at 10.30am in the morning and we had a great Tues, without sun and some fog and that made the sea was calm, with very little power, almost nonexistent.
We started down the walls and saw that not only incredible depth down, but he looked up and saw the actual length of the mountain infinite in all its extension, was awesome. It starts out almost in front of a cave that is about 10mt deep, is a huge cavity where life is sometimes but overall, the most beautiful is the spectacle that nature offers. At 20 m depth, there is another smaller cave where sometimes find small grouper and short yellow gorgonians.
We follow the coast to dive right arm and see actual colonies bream, grouper fish sized glass and interesting until the angle wall,  poking large gorgonian fans yellow and lilac, as you can see in the video. The most interesting thing is to go looking at small cavities which looks much red coral, kill small but growing. To meet this small yellow gorgonians, and white, and urchins spidulinas different colors, from black to purple and gray.
There are also yellow eels hide in the natural cracks the rock so you have to go for this search slope.
Once we got to 100 bar, we turned up slowly making a multilevel dive, thus we see another perspective and also other possibilities to see other different things that maybe we did not see before. Make no mistake, not deeper we see, on the contrary unless we are in other seas and the life we expect to see those large pelagic or other animals. A 18 or 20mt can do wonders and lives.
When you reach that point where we began the dive, we proceed to the safety stop and 3min to 5 mt.
I included a couple of videos that you may have a small idea of what we saw. Hope you like.
Greetings.
A. Montserrat

BUCEO: LITTLE ANGEL MOYO ISLAND

Me quedé asombrada.

( english) Diving : Little angel Moyo Island
This was the first dive that we did and it was spectacular for all that we saw. We started the dive without courrent, pleasant and contemplating the wonders that nature gave us, when I saw sponges of several colors and with more than 1.20mt high intac. I was amazed .
I remembered the first time I went diving in Aqaba Jordan, who had a show similar but smaller scale but take courage.
It's all virgin, January and protected by the government and the professionals who fight and help each immersion teaching, caring and collect, if necessary, bags, plastic or any small trash that could be found.

There were tufts of white coral and is not a cliché, thousands of colorful reef fish. The truth is you did not know where to look. Lionfish are the kings and they are everywhere, small tuna and golden. Nudibranqueos whimsical colors and shapes and forms fish are extremely rare deformed frog or fish .....
On this dive we also found small white tip sharks. Well this is a couple of dives relax and unwind enjoying the wonders of the sea and nature.

BUCEO: TICKNO REEF SANGEANY VOLCANO

BUCEO: TICKNO REEF SANGEANY VOLCANO INDONESIA
( NUDIBRANQ. EN FOTOS)
Saludos Montse A.

(english) Diving: TICKNO REEF SANGEANY VOLCANO INDONESIA
This dive was surprising because it has been my first dive in diving mug. The "sand" is black and as you know, we must be very careful with lifting, as others would hamper to see something. Well, what I liked most is how a coral stands above the Mug or nudibranqueos to see easily all by the way, here are hundreds and which most colorful and rare. I recommend you try when you have time and buoyancy controlled as it is to enjoy it. The white anemones with clownfish on black background is amazing.

BUCEO: MANTA ALLEY KOMODO SUR

MANTA ALLEY KOMODO SUR
Disfrutad

After spending all night sailing, we reached our destination for our next and penultimate dive in Indonesia. The aim was to see Mantas and place Alley Point. The setting was spectacular and frightening. When everything looked at 6 am, gave you the feeling of being at the end of the world and if you gave two steps more, would run the risk of falling out of the World. We had a long gray, leaden and fresh swell and some power. The truth was not palatable but we had been made 1000kg boat to get there ..... This point is located in South Komodo and can only be reached by boat. We had to be careful because the point was made up of an island located to the left arm and right arm three rocks protruding from the surface and marked the end of something you never saw. Had to be careful, as the last rock had to pass it as the point of dangerous currents and be partly Ocean. Well, the situation was gray weather, fresh water 22 °, 30mt deep and murky water. We throw away and did not disappoint in terms of conditions but only two finned and spent 4 Mantas over our heads. It was sumptuous spectral but how could it be otherwise when it comes to rugs in this case were not ocean. The adventure promised, after this continued to the cleaning station and there, kneeling in the sand waiting to see if we smiled luck controlling the air and not to enter into DECO, but he did not disappoint. Attached some videos for you to see as it was cloudy water and the majesty of the Mantas. Enjoy

BUCEO: SHOT GUN KOMODO ISLAND

 BUCEO: INMERSIONES ESPECTACULARES EN INDONESIA
Os presento a Antonio Blanco, This is Antonio Blanco

(English) DIVING: SPECTACULAR DIVING IN INDONESIA
 Hi all,

Here I am again to explain the new diving experiences. First, I want to say that the essence in these activities is to get a good team of dive masters to monitor the conditions and especially the control, not only for themselves but also for those who dive for recreational and  not professional level. We made a life on board and we were very lucky with Dives team we had. To us, we assign Ramon, to baptize him as the "King of the currents" by me, shocking I tell you.
In the area where we were, the currents were not more frequent, it could raise so strong as in one of them. At this time is when you appreciate the good people, like him, with a cool head at all times and studying to do and how to react.
I present the first dive of pure adrenaline called .....  SHOT GUN Komodo Island. There are many diving in Indonesia, as you know, but one of them loose on adrenaline that is "Shot Gun", which as its name suggests is translated as "el disparo".
This point is located between Gili  Lawadand and Gili Lawadere (must arrive by boat), forming a channel. When we got off, we found mild currents allowing immersion savor and contemplate the landscape that had no waste, corals, sponges and  a lot of reef fishes, the truth is, it was spectacular not only for its beauty, but because everything was intact and was of great dimensions. We continued and arrived at a flat white sand where you could see a garden of eels, reef-right arm had a wall full of soft corals, anemones and several small caves where one of them found several sweet lips, the show was amazing .... . When we finished we went to see the wall of the canyon that was in front of the wall, the visibility was spectacular but the barrel was narrow and Dive told us to go one by one (something I did not understand) so I hope and Antonio to see what was happening at that time, we saw that we were 50 bars and we lost a bit the notion of the route that we still had to do, so I decided to go back the way, which was an error arose because a current incredible, perhaps 5 knots, I crawl and reach a point where I could grab a rock, it was amazing I panic because I had never faced a current equal, Antonio for not letting me, follow me and end the group agreed at the same point. Ramon came for me to help me and then let go and decided all "enjoy" the real current Shot gun (current draft).
It was a unique experience, but the truth is I with a little less adrenaline and adventure I also had breaded, so take note because it is worthwhile for anyone who likes the risk.
