Colette: Actriz y escritora que escandalizó París.

Hoy hablamos de una mujer que escandalizo al mundo de

su época. Era escritora y tenia novelas de éxito pero no fue suficiente. Decidió hacerse actriz y con ello desnudos, besos con mujeres en público… una vida exagerada para una mujer avanzada a su tiempo.

Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette presidió la Academia Goncourt y a su muerte, Francia la despidió con un gran funeral.

Ella era una mujer alegre, vital y con una mirada de gato. Casada con un hombre mucho mayor que ella, mujeriego y listo que supo sacarle el mayor partido a su esposa. Ella, en sus inicios, estaba en casa y le hacía de secretaria contestando su correspondencia, acompañándolo a algunos eventos… y aprovechaba para adquirir experiencia y mundo.

Willy era su nombre “artístico” con el que firmaba las obras que publicaba y que se las escribían otros escritores por dinero. El era un hombre derrochador, lleno de amantes, algo que ella le encolerizaba pero que iba pasándolo por alto aunque su transformación y evolución como mujer emancipada empieza.

Llega un momento que Willy le pide que escriba sus memorias de infancia explicando detalles “picantes” ya que sus fondos estaban bajo mínimos. La obra se llamara Claudine. Su marido lo chequeará, le añadirá algún comentario más picante y firmará el libro. Es un éxito pero los fondos siguen bajando obligándola a escribir más ella se niega pero él la obliga y empieza a crear una saga de Claudine que tiene un gran éxito, tanto que se desata un gran abanico de merchandising … sin querer, crea un modelo de adolescencia diferente , la adolescente moderna de tiempo.

En ese momento, ella empieza a desmarcarse y a escandalizar a la sociedad del momento presentándose con pantalones, algo que estaba prohibido para las mujeres. Continua con su evolución personal . Conoce a una rica americana haciéndose amantes. Es una época que se basa en la búsqueda de los desconocido , nuevas diversiones, ampliación de miras a costumbres extravagantes y desconocidas pero Colette lleva una vida sana, no fuma, no bebe no toma drogas.

Mathilde de Morny –Missy- es aristócrta, lesbiana, travestida… y con ella Colette se embarca en el Music Hall. Se divorcia de Willy y consigue poner su propio nombre en la próxima novela llamada El refugio de Claudine.

A Colette su madre le enseñó el ateísmo y la desobediencia, Willy la provocación. Missy le aportó cariño y seguridad pero ella fue la que tuvo la capacidad de utilizar todo lo aprendido para sí. 

Sin embargo, lo más difícil de entender es que  Colette negaba ser feminista aunque su vida fue plena en libertad, a pesar de la sociedad de aquel entonces.  Según ella se casó tres veces y tuvo tres amantes. Fue una mujer que hizo todo lo que quiso. Fue reportera, guionista de cine,regentó un salón de belleza, escritora, actriz… lo fue casi todo y lo sorprendente fue que no tenía estudios, lo cual indica que su inteligencia natural estaba muy por encima. La iglesia católica le negó un funeral aunque el país la despidió con todos los honores.
