Nunca dejara
de sorprenderme esta tierra gallega. Ayer
Llegamos y lo
primero que vimos fue un puerto bonito y acogedor con unas playitas
maravillosas de agua blanca y aguas cristalinas aunque un pelín frias. Pero el
día iba a dar mucho de si.
Nos fuimos
andando a visitar el Santuario de la
virgen de la Barca. Lugar que ardió hace años y que se ha reconstruido y puesto
un mural imitando el retablo original que desde lejos convence. El lugar es
indescriptible. El Santuario a pie de acantilado donde se encuentra la piedra
de Abalar, A pedra dos Cadrís y el mar batiendo aunque me enseñaron fotos de
cuando el mar está verdaderamente bravo y debo decir que da miedo. Solo comentar
que las olas llegan a la puerta del santuario, con eso se dice todo.
De allí
ascendimos muy levemente hacia la cruz ubicada en el mirador O Corpiño desde
donde se puede avistar todo el pueblo y la península que la conforma. El lugar
es embriagador y merece la pena visitarlo, sobre todo si hay un día con sol y
buen tiempo. Las vistas son espectaculares. Continuamos caminando hacia los
secadores de congrios, algo interesante si no lo has visto nunca . Todo su
entorno es interesante y agradable. Paseamos por el pueblo que merece la pena
verlo con su paseo marítimo donde encontraremos bares y cafeterías para tomar
una copa o comer y las casas de los
lugareños que me parecieron, en su mayoría bonitas y bien cuidadas, unas de
piedra otras pintadas de colores retomando esa costumbre marinera.
Después fuimos
a comer y continuamos nuestro recorrido de visita. Nos dirigimos al Monte Facho
desde donde las vistas siguen siendo espectaculares dejándonos postales
increíbles del lugar y desde donde vimos el nuevo Parador muy bien integrado en
el paisaje y que promete en cuanto a vistas y servicios. Esperemos que abran
pronto.
De allí,
decidimos ir a dar un paseo por Os Muiños desde el pueblo. De allí cogimos el
camino que nos llevó por el bosque . Este paseo apto para todos los públicos
está marcado por una pasarela de madera
haciéndolo cómodo y agradable para todos. Las fotografías que se pueden
tomar son increíbles mientras ves los molinos que servían para moler grano, que
están en perfectas condiciones, cuidados y algunos se pueden visitar por dentro
viendo la piedra redonda de moler.
Por todo el
camino llevábamos de acompañante el rio Negro, rio flanqueado por helechos,
flores y plantas que daban aún más vida al lugar así como un ambiente fresco y
agradable. Sin embargo, lo mejor nos sorprendería al final del camino que fue
ver como el bosque se abría delante nuestro y nos dejaba ver la desembocadura
del rio hacia el mar.
La estampa fue
pura belleza recordándome un lugar que vi hace muchos años en Ocho ríos en
Jamaica. Continuamos hacia el mar donde nos esperaba una arena fina y blanca y
una playa llena de belleza y calma. Yo
recomiendo a todo el mundo que vaya y haga este recorrido que no es nada largo,
quizás media hora de ida y media de vuelta con dificultad inexistente pero de
gran belleza y calidez.
Este lugar,
Muxia, tiene muchos recorridos de baja dificultad o nula para poder hacer
diariamente. Así que no solo es rico en belleza marítima, también natural de
bosque al que insto a todos a respetar y cuidar. Se puede disfrutar pero
también hay que ser conscientes de cuidar el lugar.
Después de
esto, ya decidimos salir hacia casa y finalizar la “aventura” que nos
prepararon nuestro amigos y que fue inolvidable pero no sin avistar, porque
está en obras, San Martiño de Ozón.
Espero que
algunas personas de las que lean este post se animen a visitar el lugar pero
pidiendo respeto por el medio para que todos podamos disfrutar de estos parajes
el máximo de tiempo posible.

From Muxia to the mills
This Galician
land will never cease to amaze me. Yesterday we went to see some friends in
Muxia, a place that had not seen me for more than 18 years. Undoubtedly,
everything changes over time but this beautiful place changed and for the
better. It is located near Finisterre and in the province of Coruña.
We arrived and
the first thing we saw was a nice and cozy harbor with wonderful beaches of
white water and crystal clear waters although a tad cold. But the day was going
to give a lot of itself.
We walked to
visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of La Barca. Place that burned years ago and
that has been rebuilt and put a mural imitating the original altarpiece that
convinces from afar. The place is indescribable. The Sanctuary at the foot of
the cliff where the stone of Abalar is located, A pedra dos Cadrís and the sea
beating although they showed me photos of when the sea is really rough and I
must say that it is scary. Just comment that the waves reach the door of the
sanctuary, with that everything is said.
From there we
ascend very slightly towards the cross located in the O Corpiño viewpoint from
where you can see the entire town and the peninsula that forms it. The place is
intoxicating and worth a visit, especially if there is a day with sun and good
weather. The views are spectacular. We continue walking towards the conger
dryers, something interesting if you have never seen it. All its surroundings
are interesting and pleasant. We walked through the town that is worth seeing
with its promenade where we will find bars and cafes to have a drink or eat and
the houses of the locals that seemed to me, mostly beautiful and
well-maintained, some stone, others painted in colors taking up That seafaring
custom.
Then we went
to eat and continued our tour of visit. We went to Mount Facho from where the
views are still spectacular leaving us incredible postcards of the place and
from where we saw the new Parador very well integrated into the landscape and
promising in terms of views and services. Hopefully they open soon.
From there, we
decided to go for a walk through Os Muiños from the town. From there we took
the path that led us through the forest. This walk suitable for all audiences
is marked by a wooden walkway making it comfortable and pleasant for everyone.
The photographs that can be taken are incredible while you see the mills that
were used to grind grain, which are in perfect condition, care and some can be
visited inside watching the round grinding stone.
Throughout the
road we had the Black River as a companion, a river flanked by ferns, flowers
and plants that gave the place even more life as well as a fresh and pleasant
atmosphere. However, the best thing would surprise us at the end of the path
that was to see how the forest opened before us and let us see the mouth of the
river towards the sea.
The picture
was pure beauty reminding me of a place I saw many years ago in Eight Rivers in
Jamaica. We continue towards the sea where a fine white sand and a beach full
of beauty and calm awaited us. I recommend everyone to go and take this tour
that is not long, maybe half an hour round trip with nonexistent difficulty but
of great beauty and warmth.
This place,
Muxia, has many low difficulty or zero routes to do daily. So it is not only
rich in maritime beauty, but also natural forest that I urge everyone to
respect and care for. You can enjoy but you also have to be aware of taking
care of the place.
After this, we
decided to go home and finish the “adventure” that our friends prepared for us
and that it was unforgettable but not without sighting, because it is under
construction, San Martiño de Ozón.
I hope some
people who read this post are encouraged to visit the place but asking for
respect for the environment so that we can all enjoy these places as much time
as possible.
