Este fin de
semana decidimos hacer deporte y cultura
Empezamos el
día intentando hacer una ruta de Val do Iso en el municipio de Arzúa. Es una
zona muy bonita con una riqueza de pastos increíbles, por ello la calidad de
sus quesos y productos. Esta ruta
empezaba en el Área Recreativa de Ribadiso que no está bien señalizada para
alguien que no conoce y aquí quiero hacer hincapié, una vez más, a los
responsables de turismo. No solo hay que hacer publicidad en programas, también
hay que señalizar correctamente sin dualismo pensando en las personas que no
han ido nunca y revisar que las señalizaciones siguen en pie. En caso
contrario, todo este interés por el senderismo y por tanto, en un nuevo modo de
hacer ingresos, será complicado.
Pues bien al
llegar al Área recreativa de Ribadiso, hay que coger la N-547 y al pasar por la
gasolinera, a mano izquierda, seguir y fijarse porque a unos 500 mt hay un desvío
a Ribadiso, cogerlo y se pasara por debajo de un puente viendo el área
recreativa. Desde allí, que dejaremos el coche, podremos ver un poco la zona
que es francamente bonita con los puentes de madera y el rio.
Pero para
empezar con el sendero hay que dirigirse a Guldrís que es el pueblo que se ve
desde el parking del área a mano izquierda. Hay que ir por la pista asfaltada
que hay. Desde allí seguir todo recto como si saliéramos de la aldea y empezar
allí el sendero que hay un cartel informativo. No es sencillo encontrar el
comienzo pero en el pueblo os pueden informar. Es una pena la pequeña dificultad
de inicio porque poner un indicador no cuesta tanto y ayudaría a todos a
encontrar el sendero. En cualquier caso,
el paseo merece la pena ya que hay un castro aunque esta todo tapado y hay que
ponerle imaginación del siglo VI a.C
finales de la Edad del Bronce. También, continuando por la senda podremos
visitar la Fonte de Quenlla que guarda una leyenda: Se dice que no muy lejos de
Castro Curbín vivían una madre y su hija. Ésta última estaba a cargo de una
vaca que pastaba en el Castro Curbín y se paraba a beber agua de la Fonte da
Quenlla. Un buen día apareció sentada junto a la fuente una mujer vestida de
blanco que le permitió que la peinase con un peine de oro. Entonces la niña le
dio a comer un trozo de pan que era lo único que tenía de almuerzo para ese
día. Sin esperarlo el hada le regaló una moneda.
Al volver a
casa la joven le entregó a su madre la moneda y esta le preguntó de dónde la
había sacado y quién le había peinado el cabello. Para guardarle el secreto al
hada, la niña mintió diciéndole que se había encontrado la moneda por el camino
y que se había peinado ella sola. Sin embargo, en los días siguientes la joven
volvía a casa de nuevo con la moneda y el cabello bien peinado. La madre se
percató de tales hechos sucesivos y la niña finalmente le confesó la verdadera
historia. La madre muy emocionada mandó a su hija de nuevo a la fuente para que
trajera más monedas de oro. Al anochecer la vaca regresó, pero esta vez sin la
niña que descubrió el secreto del hada.
Luego nos
fuimos a comer y descansamos en una casa rural hasta el día siguiente que
hicimos otra ruta llamada camino de la fervenza de Brañas en Toques. Es la PR-G
166 no es difícil aunque encontrar el inicio no fue sencillo debido a que los
indicadores no estaban y los que habían estaban situados de “aquella manera”,
creo que aquí habría que poner más atención en tener bien señalizado y
actualizadas las indicaciones para que el caminante lo tuviera fácil seguir, ya
que hay tramos complicados, cruces que pueden llevar a error y perderse a
bastante distancia del final del camino. Hay que fijarse muchísimo en encontrar
las señales y no todas son claras. Si los responsables pusieran todavía más
empeño podríamos tener unos magníficos senderos para todo el mundo.

Path and culture for Galicia
This weekend
we decided to do sports and culture in Val do Iso, Toques and Sobrado. We found
it easy to know all that after collecting general information through several
channels although the surprise was not pleasant was when we saw that most of
the indications were not or were not very clear.
We started the
day trying to make a route from Val do Iso in the municipality of Arzúa. It is
a very beautiful area with a wealth of incredible pastures, for that reason the
quality of its cheeses and products. This route started in the Ribadiso
Recreation Area, which is not well marked for someone who does not know and
here I want to emphasize, once again, those responsible for tourism. Not only
do you have to advertise in programs, you also have to signal correctly without
dualism thinking about people who have never gone and check that the signs are
still standing. Otherwise, all this interest in hiking and therefore in a new
way of making income, will be complicated.
Well, when you
arrive at the Ribadiso recreational area, you have to take the N-547 and when
passing by the gas station, on the left, continue and fix because at about 500
mt there is a detour to Ribadiso, take it and go under a bridge watching the
recreational area. From there, we will leave the car, we can see a bit the area
that is frankly beautiful with the wooden bridges and the river.
But to start
with the path you have to go to Guldrís, the town that can be seen from the
parking area on the left. You have to go by the asphalted track that there is.
From there, continue straight ahead as if we were leaving the village and
starting the path there is an informative sign. It is not easy to find the
beginning but in the village they can inform you. It is a pity the small
difficulty of beginning because putting an indicator does not cost so much and
would help everyone to find the path. In any case, the walk is worth it since
there is a castro although it is all covered and you have to put imagination
from the sixth century BC to the end of the Bronze Age. Also, continuing along
the path we can visit the Fonte de Quenlla that has a legend: It is said that
not far from Castro Curbín lived a mother and her daughter. The latter was in
charge of a cow that grazed in Castro Curbin and stopped to drink water from
the Fonte da Quenlla. One fine day, a woman dressed in white appeared at the
fountain and allowed her to comb her hair with a gold comb. Then the girl gave
her a piece of bread that was the only thing she had for lunch that day. Without
waiting for it, the fairy gave her a coin.
Upon returning
home the young woman handed her mother the coin and she asked him where he had
taken it from and who had combed his hair. To keep the fairy secret, the girl
lied telling him that the coin had been found along the way and that she had
combed her own hair. However, in the following days the young woman returned
home again with the coin and her hair combed well. The mother became aware of
such successive events and the girl finally confessed the true story. The very
excited mother sent her daughter back to the fountain to bring more gold coins.
At nightfall the cow returned, but this time without the girl who discovered
the secret of the fairy.
Then we went
to eat and we rested in a rural house until the next day that we made another
route called the road to Brañas in Toques. PR-G 166 is not difficult, although
finding the beginning was not easy because the indicators were not there and
those that were located "in that way", I think that here we should
pay more attention to having well-marked and updated the indications so that
the walker had it easy to follow, since there are complicated stretches,
crosses that can lead to error and get lost quite far from the end of the road.
You have to look very hard to find the signs and not all are clear. If the
responsible ones put even more effort we could have some magnificent trails for
everybody.
