piel.
Ø Frutos
secos: nueces, almendras, avellanas, pistachos… contienen ácidos grasos

NUTRICOSMETICA
We have talked a lot about nutrition, the foods
that give us more benefits, the nutritional contributions of some foods, etc
... and today we are going to merge all this knowledge to have a general idea
that we can eat and that we bring those products to our health To improve in
beauty both outside and inside.
When we talk about nutricosmetics we always
think of pills and vitamin complexes but we can also use foods that work
slowing down the aging process.
Eating a balanced diet and low in fat or
avoiding them, not drinking alcohol and tobacco and exercising regularly to an
intensity that we can resist will cause us to lose weight and make our skin
look better and healthier.
There are no secrets that guarantee us
longevity or youth but we can help by consuming those foods that can benefit us
in delaying cellular aging and signs of aging.
There are antioxidant foods that can delay the
deterioration of the skin, tissues, organs, etc. They act against free
radicals, which can be internal (stress, metabolism ...) and external (tobacco,
alcohol, pollution, poor diet, excessive exposure solar…)
There are about 8000 types of antioxidants but
not all act the same. If we could not take these vitamins and minerals through
food, we can take them concentrates, orally, thanks to the complex vitamins:
Cranberry: contains vitamin C
Yeast: with zinc and vitamin E.
Collagen and hyaluronic acid: with
vitamin C and zinc
Beta-carotene: precursor of retinol
or vitamin A
These are essential to maintain a
"youth" visible since vitamin C contributes to the formation of
collagen, which keeps our joints strong and skin in perfect condition.
Zinc and vitamin E help maintain hair and nails
and protect against free radicals. They prevent the aging of the organism.
Collagen and hyaluronic acid provide elasticity
and softness. Beta-carotene is a precursor of vitamin A or Retinol and
contributes to the maintenance of skin and mucous membranes and provides extra
protection against ultraviolet rays. With exposure to the sun, in excess, we
generate free radicals that contribute to the premature aging of our skin.
Great antioxidants
Ø Garlic: A tooth contains vitamins A, B, C,
iodine, selenium, potassium, zinc, calcium, iron and magnesium. In addition, it
is considered a natural antibiotic. Consuming raw garlic helps to lower blood
pressure by its vasodilator capacity.
Ø Berries or fruits of the forest: such as
raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries. They contain
anthocyanins that act as potent antioxidants.
Ø Broccoli: contain vitamin C, calcium and
sulforaphane, also with antioxidant effects.
Ø Negro Black or bitter chocolate:
contains flavonoids that improve cardiovascular health and skin.
Ø Nuts: nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios ...
contain essential fatty acids that protect against cardiovascular disease and
cognitive impairment. In addition, they provide elasticity to the skin and
strengthen the immune system.
Ø Beans (white, red and black): in addition to
antioxidants, they contain proteins, fiber, vitamins and minerals.
Ø Green tea: contains polyphenols and
flavonoids, in addition to tein, which enhances cognitive activity, improving
attention and concentration.
Ø Tomatoes: contain lycopene, but to be absorbed
by the body has to be accompanied by a healthy fat, such as olive oil.
Ø Grapes: contains polyphenols and flavonoids.
Ø Carrot: rich in beta-carotenes that help the
body produce vitamin A, beneficial to the eye.
With all these guidelines we can design menus
where at each meal we can include some food from these and give us their
benefits. It's not complicated just a little organization is needed.
