Dana Falsetti: breaks the mold with Yoga
We talked about the curvy on the catwalks, as a new trend or fashion but I really do not like the name that is given because it seems to want to justify overweight people calling with a more or less modern and acceptable name socially, and really, it is not accepted and even criticized. To show closer to any fashion store, where you wear a size 36 or raisins to a 44 (monstrous) that forces you to go as an old or worse.
But we do not stray from the subject. Dana Falsetti is a star in social networks unapologetic show a remote anatomy standard of beauty and mastery of the asanas.

Weigh more than 130 kilos became quite a problem for Dana. This native of New Hope, young American grew suffering from his body. Depression and continued visits to the refrigerator carrying carting since adolescence still part of his trust day in a society where not having left him a few extra kilos.
He decided, after losing nearly 30 kilos, the solution to be happy was not only lose weight. Adhering of age proved what was a yoga class in a small study, "even though we knew we were few and every day he would feel ashamed of my body."
A few days shy of 23 years, has become a star of social networks bringing together thousands of followers. In addition to offering factories of yoga, it has opened a channel on Youtube under the name Nolatrees where capitanea through some short videos, keys paralyze those positions ue many tildan impossible.

One way to overcome these fears that gnawed at the beginning of Dana has been overcome: "I was going three times a week to class and at the same time, following a routine toning exercises at home." However, when he returned to New Orleans to continue university studies, neither the time nor the money allowed him to continue practicing this discipline. "I had to adapt to the circumstances and I started learning by myself from my home. Besides working my physical, it was important to know that every yoga posture body means to me is why, before performing the exercises themselves, read many books on anatomy and how to improve posture. "
He ate compulsively recurrent, sometimes losing control of his life. Unlike bulimia, his illness did not exist purging behavior, it ie no vomiting caused. Get workshops taught to believe in herself. And as a result, students can absorb their energy. "I liked to see how people who come to my classes do not just learn how to perform these postures that show in the pictures, but to understand and be reflected in my story. I let them know that I had the same difficulties. "

Beyond the images and videos that share where and categorized as Yogi curvy, Dana does not seem to bother him that label; however, it is clear that it is not identified with that term. It is true that no criticism of those who use it, is your decision to sell well. I've learned not to be ashamed to show my body and less if it is to break stereotypes, he adds proudly.
In the beginning, this race was disciplining acceptance Anusara Yoga was what accompanied the young yogi for several years. It is a combination of Hatha Yoga practice, which currently focuses more on physical exercise, with the tantric philosophy that seeks to "acceptance of ourselves." With the positions taken it comes to "follow your heart", as translated from Sanskrit Anusara. Stresses that is quite similar to Vinyasa classes, one of the ways that has begun to be used in many rehabilitation centers and education programs to overcome eating disorders. "I recommend it to beginners because one is at peace with himself and the person learns to connect with your body after finishing classes."
Asked about his routine, he says nothing waking start practicing yoga. "Always before eating something." Still he is struggling with binge eating disorder, because "it is not a disease that runs from one day to another"; and for that reason, he tries to deal with herself changing her habit of observing the gap dela full fridge by placing the mat on the floor of his room.
To all those who ask Dana how it has managed to overcome the barrier of the disease and show unapologetic to a virtual world that erroneously linked seamlessly with thinness, she replies: "Do not expect to imagine that something good will happen, do it . Do not deny the gift of take care of yourself and let others speak, but never do it for you. "

We have long been in a crisis on the concept of the body, which is shameful. I am happy to be part of that revolution where self-love is the key. " Beauty standards are not real, someone created that shit for us we believed. If you do not know the freedom and happiness that one gets to be pleased with himself and to be free of what other people think of you; You see, run, look at yourself in the mirror and shout. Be free". Article Creator Isaac J. Martin.
