46 ponentes clave, solo cuatro eran mujeres.
Vanessa Estorach, cofundadora de Women in Mobile,
1. Que
haya dos mujeres hablando
2. Que
estén en la misma mesa redonda

Technology
and women
Usually when we talk about app's or technology in
general, we always think of a male figure behind but that's not always the
case. There are also creative women in technology and consumer issues.
Here I transcribe a few paragraphs of an article
written by Silvia TAULES of Yodona that I found interesting and I make part of
them.
In fourth grade, 66% of girls declare themselves
delighted with mathematics but along the way are only 18% who enter
universities choosing science but the worst data is that only 29 thousand
students of technology are women. That low female representation became more
apparent at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona: the 46 key speakers, only
four were women. Some commentators say it is a social problem. Small you have
to play with dolls and being princesses, not legos or purchased computers for
them.
Vanessa Estorach, cofounder of Women in Mobile,
sums up his philosophy in a slogan: You can not be what you do not see.
The key: seek references and give them the word.
"We are talking with the organization to see
if next year we can raise our appointment in the congress. They have some
action on women, but focus on talking about our role in this world. We do not
want that, we make the most powerful in the industry have a voice and talk
about what they know, "says Estorach. As they do, a year women's presence
at Mobile World Congress was virtually residual because, as summed up very
retweeted a tweet during the event, Bechdel test.
1. You have two women talking
2. That they are in the same round table
3. are not talking about women and technology ...
Women in Mobile brought together about 300 people
in a place that was packed quickly, especially female audience. There were,
among other muchs, Sandra Sancho, director of marketing at My Taxi, Diana
Morato, G. Manager Deliverroo, app to order delivery of the best restaurants in
Barcelona and Madrid ... and women leading companies known to all. As Candy
Crush. Sandra Davidsson is the Senior Manager of Operations Services King and
one of the great experts when analyzing the state of the mobile industry today.
It is said that King have joined the technological
equipment and development with marketing and that the results are positive. The
aim is to solve one of the issues that most concern in the sector retain
customers. Because thousands of mobile applications are created daily, but few
endure over time. The figures leave no doubt, 77% of users who have installed
an app stop using it within three days.
22% of the apps are only opened once and only 5% of
users still using one to six months of habérsela installed. That brings head to
companies in the sector. Without differentiating between men and women. Those
who know do well and retain their customers are heard with devotion.
Women need to be present in the technology world
because it is who is it for the final product. 85% of people who decide
household purchases are women. If only men, industry hardly adapt to our needs.
That's the first step, we must open the doors and
show that women are part of the technological world. Thus, girls who they love
science could move on and develop their passion in college. All ensure that
greater female presence in the sector change things. And not only within the
screens. Also contribute to declining male chauvinism still exists in many
companies. "They need referents who want to follow and for this we must
encourage women to join the role models without being superjefas only visible
persons with command and with clear objectives to where to go and how.
