GRANNYHAIR: LA NUEVA MODA FEMENINA

Sabemos que a medida que pasa el tiempo nuestro cabello se torna gris   hasta llegar al blanco pero las mujeres tenemos ese punto especial de no querer envejecer, de estar siempre bellas, de que nuestro aspecto físico ( envoltorio) no cambie en demasía sin darnos la oportunidad de la autoaceptación viendo como los años nos cambian pero no por ello tiene que ser negativo.

En estos momentos , los diseñadores, estilistas, celebrities , etc… se han encargado de que el granny hair o pelo de abuela sea lo último en tendencias capilares.  La tendencia no es solo cosa de mujeres que han renunciado al tinte y reivindican su melena plateada, las jóvenes más cool acuden a etilistas y peluqueros para conseguir un tono plateado emulando así a famosas como Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Angelina Jolie, Pink…. Matizar la melena gris con mechas blancas, azules y rosas.

La inspiración también puede encontrarse en alguno de los personajes de ficción más populares de los últimos años como la reina Esla de la película de Disney Frozen o Daenerys Targaryen, la madre de dragones, en Juego de Tronos.

Una de las ultimas en reconciliares con sus canas ha sido la diseñadora británica Vivienne Westwood, quien se presentó en la Semana de la Moda de París presumiendo de cabello plateado.

La tendencia admite dos direcciones. La primera, que algunos calificarán como un tanto excéntrica, supone, sin tener canas y siendo, a todas luces, demasiado joven, decolorarse el cabello y teñirlo de gris, quizá con algún matiz en tono pastel. Y la segunda, cuando si se tienen y se cuenta con mayor edad, reivindicarlas y mostrarlas con orgullo.

Detrás de dicha elección cromática, importada de los Estados Unidos, se pueden hallar múltiples lecturas. Anabel García Iglesia psicóloga, apunta: “tres de cada diez españolas ya no se tiñen y otras muchas, jóvenes incluso, se tienen de gris.

Reivindican a una mujer sexy y deseada a pesar de la edad. Por tanto, lucir canas reflejaría una actitud. Significa mostrar un aspecto acorde con la edad real, sin que ello se asocie a deterioro, sino todo lo contrario”.

Estamos ante una persona segura que manifiesta, y hace plenamente visible, su derecho a no ocultar el paso del tiempo y a mostrar su edad real. Hasta ahora, añade la psicóloga: “en la mujer, el pelo gris estaba relacionado con su proceso de envejecimiento, se asociaba a un concepto de invisibilidad al que estaba sometida en anteriores generaciones, debido a una desigualdad evidente. El hombre maduro todavía tenía posibilidades de desarrollo y realización, y por tanto podía seguir siendo atractivo, mientras que, después de finalizar su etapa fértil, los estereotipos relegaban a la mujer a un evidente declive”.

Lejos de un signo de vejez, hoy por hoy, el tono plateado es una muestra de sofisticación y belleza. Elegante y sí, quizá también con un punto realmente moderno e irreverente. Y es que el cabello es un modo de expresión como pueden serlo el vestuario, el rojo de labios o, incluso, el perfume o el movimiento de las manos.

En opinión de Javier Laspalas, reconocido peluquero y experto en color comenta” el gris atenúa las líneas de expresión e ilumina. La naturaleza es sabia y, a medida que cumplimos años y cuando son mayores las arrugas de nuestro rostro, el pelo se vuelve así precisamente porque resulta más favorecedor”.

Las personas que lo lucen son seguras y hacen plenamente visible su derecho a no ocultar el paso del tiempo y a mostrar su edad real.  Lejos de un signo de vejez, el tono plateado se presenta como una muestra de sofisticación, personalidad y belleza.
