semillas, granos, legumbres y cereales.
agroquímicos), granos, cereales, semillas y zumos naturales.

ANNA YOGA: THE YOGA
OF HEALTHY EATING
This technique of yoga offers a healthy and
balanced diet, which means less violence and exploitation to other living
beings. It also explains that diseases are caused by poor eating habits,
violence to animals and the misuse of natural resources.
Points to the awareness of the different
dimensions of being, he understood as a whole mind-body-spirit that seeks its
psychophysical wellbeing.
From being aware that everything we eat becomes
part of the body and in turn, our bioenergetic system, it follows that the
quality of food conceived as vital fuel must be treated with our desire to
evolve, both physically and spiritually .
According to Indian philosophy in the practical
world two forces operate:
• Rajas is the force of passions, unbridled
activity, continuous movement, change and excitement. This force is also known
as red wind.
• Tamas is the immobilizing and depressive
force. She is also known as the black wind and it is associated with laziness
and everything that moves into the darkness.
There is a third force, also known as Sattva,
which is associated with purity, wisdom and anything that moves toward the
light. This is the power of truth. Sattva or the white wind, unlike the first
two, is the result of conscious effort.
All foods are embedded in some of these forces.
If we choose to eat FOOD rajasic (active), for example, will have more provided
strong emotions, anger and stress.
Meat, eggs, spicy, alcohol, coffee and tea are
rajasic food and they provide a lot of energy.
FOOD SATÍVICOS (pure) will give vitality to our
body and be more consistent with stable states of mind, serene and harmonious.
They are milk, water, honey, fruits and vegetables, oils, seeds, grains,
legumes and cereals.
FOOD tamasic (inert) are those that lead to
ignorance. So if we choose these foods will fall more easily into depression or
despair. Are canned, industrial and refined, fermented, overcooked and past.
In short, all yoga experts agree on the
importance of achieving a moderate diet always based on fresh foods like fresh
fruits and vegetables (without fertilizers and agrochemicals), grains, cereals,
seeds and juices.
