Hoy os presento a una diseñadora que siempre me robó el corazón por

su elegancia, clase y sencillez en su línea, Carolina Herrera.

En todas sus colecciones se puede ver y apreciar las líneas depuradas y elegantes, sofisticadas pero no desmesuradas. Su audacia pero sin olvidar el chic y el glamour.

El atrevimiento a según qué cortes de pantalón de pierna ancha pero de cadera y cintura estrecha. Faldas dejando asomar rodillas pero justo para inquietar una mirada, el entalle  de cinturas, las caídas de mangas vaporosas de seda u organza …  al final el resumen es elegancia y buen gusto.

Ninguna mujer se queda indiferente frente a sus colecciones, camisas a rallas entalladas que hacen feminizar ese masculino de la camisa, sus rojos pasión que favorecen a todo tipo de mujer y esos vestidos modernos que no dejan de dibujar líneas depuradas que nos recuerdan a los años 30 ( en algunos casos) pero que tanto favorecen a todo tipo de mujer y que nos hace diferentes a las demás.

Yo me casé con un vestido de ella. Solo verlo me enamore después de ver algunos trajes impresionantes de otras marcas pero al final llegué a la tienda y al echar una hojeada dije ese me gusta y así fue, con ese me quedé y aun lo guardo .

María Carolina Josefina Pacanins Niño (Caracas, Venezuela, 8 de enero de 1939), conocida como Carolina Herrera, fue marquesa consorte de Torre Casa por su matrimonio con Reinaldo Herrera (hasta la revocación del título a éste), y es una diseñadora de moda venezolana reconocida internacionalmente, que fundó su propio imperio en 1981. En la actualidad la marca Carolina Herrera se ha convertido en la filial estadounidense de la compañía española de moda y perfumería Puig.

Establecida en Nueva York desde el año 1981, Carolina Herrera intentó identificarse con el lujo y la calidad entre las décadas de los años 1970, 1980 y 1990, hasta hoy, para convertirse en una de las mujeres mejor vestidas del mundo,1 así como una de las mayores partidarias del uso de pieles de animales.

Aunque la diseñadora no se siente cómoda mencionando nombres para promover su marca, cabe destacar que sus diseños son vestidos por reconocidas celebridades como Anna Wintour, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Renee Zellweger, Amy Adams, Jessica Alba, Blake Lively, Angelina Jolie, Cynthia Nixon, Katie Holmes, Tina Fey, Dianna Agron, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart y Salma Hayek.

No obstante, la gurú de la moda considera que su éxito se debe a su propia filosofía: 'No hay que tomarse la vida, y mucho menos la moda, como algo muy serio.
