MERCADO ARTESANO
LAS CONDES ( SANTIAGO DE CHILE)
Este verdadero pueblecito a escala alberga a un gran número
de artesanos y artistas
que venden y elaboran sus creaciones ante el público.
Las obras completamente realizadas a mano, representan a
cada una de las regiones de este extenso país.
Actualmente y bajo la administración de la corporación
cultural de la municipalidad de Las Condes, se ha implementado un proyecto de
desarrollo que involucra tanto a la artesanía como la historia, el teatro, las
artes visuales, música, gastronomía y todo lo relacionado con la difusión de
nuestras tradiciones.
De tal forma, el pequeño pueblecito que naciera albergando a
unos cuantos artesanos, hoy se conoce como centro artesanal Los Dominicos y se
constituye en uno de los lugares de mayor tradición del país y visita
obligatoria de extranjeros y turistas.
Todo el pequeño pueblecito está formado por pequeñas tiendas
de madera con techos de paja, respetando las costumbres de construcción de
antaño.
Es un lugar pintoresco y bonito. Por en medio de algunas
tiendas o callecitas, pasa un pequeño riachuelo que como puente se sirven de
unas maderas/tablillas para cruzarlo.
En la mitad del pueblecito hay una plaza donde se encuentran
dos cafeterías a la vieja usanza , respetando el entorno y el ambiente de
aldea.
En las tiendas se pueden encontrar tallas de madera,
orfebrería, ropa, pintura… todo hecho con mucho gusto pero respirando la típica
paz que parece envolver siempre a los artistas, ofreciendo el medio adecuado,
no solo para su trabajo sino también para las personas que vamos a

ARTISAN MARKET Las Condes (Santiago, Chile)
This true
scale village home to a large number of artisans and artists who sell and
produce their creations to the public.
The works
completely handmade, representing each of the regions of this vast country.
Currently
under the management and corporate culture of the municipality of Las Condes,
we have implemented a development project that involves both craftsmanship and
history, theater, visual arts, music, food and everything related to the
diffusion of our traditions.
Thus, the
small town was born harboring a few craftsmen, now known as The Dominicans
crafts center and constitutes one of the most traditional of the country and
visiting foreigners and tourists mandatory.
All the
small village consists of small wooden shops with thatched roofs, respecting
the old customs building.
It is a
picturesque and beautiful. For in the midst of some shops or streets, passing a
small stream that serves as a bridge of a timber / tablets to cross.
In the
middle of the village there is a square where two cafes in the old way,
respecting the environment and the village atmosphere.
In the
shops you can find wood carvings, jewelry, clothing, painting ... all done very
tastefully but breathing the typical peace always seems to involve artists,
offering the right medium, not only for work but also for people who let's see
their work and creativity.
It is a
strange and beautiful place. It is an inviting place to dream in the past. If
you have a chance, visit it.
