En alguna ocasión he hablado
Tranquilas, no estamos

On occasion I have talked about
menopause and is a subject that fascinates me. First because I am in that
special period and secondly because I want to demystify and iron get to this
moment for some women it is embarrassment.
Many of us tell us why? As well
as for some it is a great thing because we no longer have the rule and
therefore do not have to worry about anything but to enjoy, for other women is
a non-fertile time, and therefore feel less useful. Both options are
respectable, but I must say "NO" resounding no to a time when every
woman knows what she wants, knows where you are and do what you want because
your journey through life has furnished his head and it's time to live without
damages, without fear, without shame ... it's time to enjoy but everything has
a "but" why suffer disadvantages, mood swings, sweating, etc ... all
this I speak after reading the book of Maryon Stewart: natural plan menopause.
I recommend you read it.
Today being the first day I will
discuss these symptoms and we noticed new inconveniences. For example, one
night you wake up sweating, we uncover even though the room is cold. At first
it happens occasionally, but eventually, the sweats are becoming more frequent.
Usually it occurs at any time,
between 45 and 55 years although the average being 51 years. What's going on?
Quiet, we're not sick, we're not going crazy, we're just at the beginning of
menopause or climacteric.
At puberty, our ovaries begin to
release an egg each month under the direct influence of two chemical agents, or
hormones produced by the pituitary gland in the brain. These two hormones,
follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) stimulate
production while another two ovarian hormones, estrogen and progesterone, which
are responsible for creating the lining of the uterus for pregnancy . If an egg
is not fertilized, the levels of estrogen and progesterone decrease and egg,
along with the buildup of the uterine lining is discarded in the form of
menstruation.
As you go through the forties,
the supply of eggs you were born with runs low and your ovaries stop releasing
every month. There comes a time when your ovaries no longer have eggs, the
production of progesterone and estrogen levels are reduced ceases. Estrogen is
necessary for other physiological functions, such as bone strength, mental
clarity and good heart function, so it is inevitable to notice the effects of
the lack of this hormone.
This makes the body undergoes a
series of changes that will lead to menopause. Its first sign is often a change
in menstrual pattern. The rule becomes irregular, longer or shorter, as well as
heavier or, in many cases, lighter. Other symptoms:
• Hot flushes
• Night sweats
• mood swings
• Loss of libido and energy
• Insomnia
• Loss of concentration
The symptoms can be divided into
three main groups: symptoms by decreasing estrogen levels, other physical and
psychological symptoms / emotional symptoms:
Please, see attached above
information about symptoms.
Fluctuating hormone levels are
the main cause of the symptoms of menopause but are not solely responsible.
Factors such as diet and lifestyle at this stage of life also play a significant
role in determining the severity of symptoms.
Despite the changes experienced,
it is important to try to see things in perspective. Do not forget that it is a
new stage and like everything new, a chance to experience new and rewarding
things. Source: Natural Plan for menopause (Maryon Stewart)
