 Hay un cocktail fantástico que recomiendo a cualquier mujer

cuando salga a tomar una copa nocturna y quiera saborear lo que le deparará la velada, Cosmopolitan.

Yo lo probé hace un año más o menos, y la verdad es que me sorprendió. Al principio me sentí atraída por este cocktail debido a la fama cinematográfica que tenía y tiene. No hay mujer nocturna ,glamurosa si no está acompañada de un Cosmopolitan, bien batido y preparado  por un  barman profesional y conocedor del buen hacer de las copas.

Hoy os presento la receta del  cocktail con una pequeña história  contada por Javier de las Muelas. Un excelente.

Estamos ante una de las grandes creaciones de todos los tiempos, que merece toda suerte de reverencias. Hablar del Cosmopolitan es hablar del cocktail de las mujeres. Nacido de un concurso convocado por la revista del mismo nombre, hay quien sostiene que fue creado en el Julie’s Super Club de San Francisco a principios de la década de los 90. Es un referente. Glamour, clase elegancia, belleza y modernidad lo acompañan.  A principios de esa década cuando Madonna se hizo mundialmente famosa, su fuerza y sex-appeal unidos a su pasión por dicha bebida la convirtieron en madrina del cosmo.

Nueva York sería su sede y la serie de televisión Sex and the City, con sus protagonistas femeninas , lo encumbrarían a lo más alto. No había, ni hay, acto social que se precie donde no esté presente el Cosmopolitan . Ver a una madura y fantástica Meryl Streep en El diablo viste de Prada nos traslada a esos maravillosos encuentros. Debe ser para dos y qué mejor música que like a virgin para acompañarnos.

Ingredientes

1/5 de zumo de lima ( 2,5cl)

2,5 cl de cointreau

2,5 cl zumo de arándanos

5 cl de vodka

Preparación

Servimos los ingredientes en la coctelera junto con abundante hielo.

Batimos durante 15 seg.

Servimos en copa Martini

Decoramos con un twist de lima

 There is a great cocktail that I recommend to any woman when you go out for a drink at night and want to taste what it will entail in the evening , Cosmopolitan .

I tried it a year ago or so, and really surprised me . At first I was drawn to this cocktail because cinematic fame was and is . No woman nightlife, glamorous if not accompanied by a Cosmopolitan , well beaten and prepared by a professional and knowledgeable barman good work of the cups.

Today I present the recipe of the cocktail with a little history told by Javier of the wheels . Excellent .

This is one of the great creations of all time , it deserves all kinds of bows . Speaking of Cosmopolitan cocktail is talk of women. Born of a contest sponsored by the magazine of the same name, some say it was created in Julie's Supper Club San Francisco in the early 90s . It is a landmark . Glamour , class, elegance, beauty and modernity with it. Earlier this decade when Madonna became world famous , strength and sex appeal coupled with his passion for the beverage became godmother the cosmo .

New York was his home and the television series Sex and the City, with female protagonists , encumbrarían it to the top . There was , nor is , self-respecting social event where there is not the Cosmopolitan . Seeing a mature and fantastic Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada takes us back to those wonderful encounters . Must be for two and what better music to accompany us like a virgin .

ingredients

Fifth lime juice (2.5 cl )

2.5 cl Cointreau

2.5 cl cranberry juice

5 cl of vodka

preparation

We serve the ingredients in a shaker with plenty of ice .

Beat for 15 seconds .

Serve in a Martini glass

Decorate with lime twist
