Practicar mindfulness no dejaras

IF YOU WANT TO
INCREASE LONGEVITY PRACTICE MINDFULNESS
Jon Kabat-Zinn was the one who released the
mindfulness. He published live fully crises 25 years ago. Which means something
like mindfulness is mindfulness. This practice has spread to several areas such
as business and educational places seemed unthinkable apply meditation. Today
there are about 720 programs based on mindfulness working in hospitals and
clinics.
According to Jon is important to plan what has
to be done but we must return to the present and in the present, life always
welcomes us better. There are very few activities that do not benefit from a
greater presence of mind and open heart. Therein lies the mindfulness, the full
awareness that exercising paying attention to this actively and without
judgment, cultivating a form of intimacy with the moment you are living in
which you are aware of how this your body affects, if there tension in the
neck, hands ... But what works in the background is great access to consciousness
itself.
We all know that stress can have serious health
consequences, but it seems unfair to tell people that his cancer is caused by
stress. I think it's exaggerated, and negative for them that, in addition to
suffering the disease, they believe they have caused and the same with your
lifestyle.
Practicing mindfulness not you stop being
stressed or scared but if it is true, that gets along better and otherwise
being able to live moments otherwise. It helps to take more calmly diseases.
This practice changes the brain and has been
studied by Harvard University. After following a MSBR program, one hour a day
of practice for 8 weeks, the brain areas involved in memory, learning and
emotional intelligence come to increase in size, the gray matter becomes denser.
Also the amygdala, the gland that makes us react in a time of stress with a
rabid behavior, dwarfing.
But we must differentiate between relaxation
and meditation. When you say "relax" during an MRI, it is found that
there is a brain area that remains very active: the area related to thoughts
about you, your life, your future ... start thinking about ourselves and our
pain. Instead meditation, which increases neuronal connectivity, does not
produce this kind of self-absorption. If mindfulness practices that area of
the brain associated with thoughts about yourself is not activated, you are
promoting a more positive attitude.
When it began in 1979, it was not believed in
brain plasticity nor we had MRIs to study what happened inside. He had not
heard of epigenetics, nothing was known about the effects of stress on
longevity, as today we discovered that shortens telómetros. In fact, we found
that mindfulness can reduce the shortening of telomeres, which increases
longevity. We also know that stress can affect the brain in a thousand ways,
for example by blocking the ability to connect with other intelligence and
interrupting communication between different parts of the brain. In addition,
we have found that meditation reduces chronic inflammatory processes that are
at the origin of different diseases, including cancer. The path of mindfulness
is to cultivate intimacy with oneself, raise awareness. Often difficult to
fully maintain awareness when life gets difficult, but the mindfulness teaches
you to hold the ugly, the crises and disasters of a healing way. Interview
