MAÑANA TE LO DIRE

El rey era un hombre joven sinceramente preocupado por las cuestiones metafísicas. Aspiraba a conquistar la liberación interior y sabía que lograrla requería muchísima motivación y un enorme esfuerzo. Comenzó a preguntarse si una persona necesitaría más de una liberación y, atormentado por esta cuestión, hizo llamar a su maestro.

Venerable yogui, hay una cuestión que me inquieta mucho. Incluso, me roba el sueño. Yo sé hasta qué punto hay que  esforzarse para hallar la Liberación, pero me pregunto: ¿basta con que una persona se libere una vez o son necesarias más liberaciones?

El yogui sólo repuso:

Mañana , señor, te lo diré al amanecer. El monarca ni siquiera pudo conciliar el sueño. Estaba  ansioso por recibir la respuesta. Los primeros rayos del sol iluminaron su reino. Se incorporó y comenzó a ataviarse. Recordó que tenía que estar presente en una ejecución  que iba a llevarse a cabo. Por haber violado y matado a varias mujeres, un hombre había sido condenado a la horca. El juez había anunciado: “Este hombre cruel y perverso debería ser ahorcado por cada uno de sus crímenes”.

Cuando el rey salió de su cámara, el yogui lo estaba esperando.

Estoy  ansioso por conocer tu respuesta dijo el rey nada más verlo.

La conocerás, señor, si me permites acompañarte a contemplar la ejecución.

El monarca y el yogui asistieron a la  ejecución . El asesino fue ahorcado. Entonces, el rey se volvió hacia el yogui y le preguntó:

¿Cuándo responderás a mi pregunta?

Ahora mismo, majestad repuso el yogui. Ese hombre que acaba de ser ejecutado debería haber sido ahorcado, según el juez, una vez por cada uno de sus crímenes. ¿Pueden acaso ahorcarlo de nuevo?

Claro que no  afirmó el monarca. Un hombre ahorcado no puede ser ahorcado de nuevo.

Y el yogui dijo:

Y un hombre liberado, ¿puede liberarse de nuevo?

TOMORROW WHAT YOU SAY

The king was a young man sincerely concerned about metaphysical questions. Aspired to conquer inner freedom and knew a lot of required motivation and achieve an enormous effort. He began to wonder if a person would need more than one release and tormented by this issue, and called his teacher.

Venerable yogi, there is one issue that bothers me a lot. Even steals my sleep. I know how much you have to work to find liberation, but I wonder: is it sufficient that a person is released once or more releases are necessary?

The yogi replied only:

Tomorrow, sir, I'll tell you at dawn. The monarch could not even sleep. He was anxious to get the answer. The first rays of the sun lit up his kingdom. She sat up and began to adorn themselves. He recalled that he had to be present at an execution that was to take place. By having raped and killed several women, a man had been hanged. The judge announced: "This cruel and wicked man should be hanged for each of his crimes."

When the king came out of his chamber, the yogi was waiting.

I'm anxious to hear your response I see nothing but the king said.

You'll meet her, sir, if I may join you to watch the execution.

The monarch and the yogi attended the execution. The murderer was hanged. Then the King turned to the yogi and asked

When will you answer my question?

Right now, the yogi replied majesty. The man who has just been executed should have been hanged, according to the judge, once for each of his crimes. Can they hang him again?

Of course not, said the king. A man can not be hanged hanged again.

And the yogi said:

And a liberated man, can you free again?
