Este es el último
viaje desde Colombia que hare por ahora. Destino: Leticia. Es un lugar donde
confluyen tres países, Colombia, Brasil y Peru.
Leticia es una
ciudad ubicada en el extremo sur de Colombia. Es la capital del Departamento
del Amazonas. A pesar de estar alejada de los principales centros urbanos del
país, sin comunicación por carretera, constituye un nexo comercial importante
con Brasil debido a su situación de ciudad limítrofe sobre el río Amazonas y
cercana al hito tripartito con Perú y Brasil.
Actualmente reúne
casi el 60% de la población del departamento y la mayor parte indígena de
diversas comunidades como: los Huitotos, Ingas, Tucanos, Ticunas y Nukak. La
ciudad tiene un gran crecimiento demográfico y técnicamente forma una sola ciudad
con el municipio brasileño de Tabatinga.
Este es un viaje de
aventura para conocer la selva en su estado puro, pero sobretodo es esa
sensación que tienes de estar dentro del pulmón del mundo.
El viaje empezó en
Bogotá , llegamos a Leticia después de dos horas de viaje en avión.
En este momento,
llevo 5 días en Leticia y ahora si puedo explicar en primera persona la
experiencia.
Ha sido una
experiencia apasionante pero muy
instructiva a su vez. Lo recomiendo.
Leticia es un lugar
seguro, lleno de gente amable que ayudan y que viven para sus negocios.
Lo primero que
visité fue Tabatinga. Es una ciudad brasileña al extremo oeste del estado de
Amazonas a orillas del río Amazonas. Tabatinga es una palabra indígena que en
el idioma tupi significa barro blanco de mucha viscosidad, que es encontrada en
el fondo de los ríos, y también significa casa pequeña.
Se puede acceder a
la ciudad via fluvial o aérea; no existe comunicación terrestre con Manaus.
Visitamos la
ciudad, sus calles y comercios. De allí, nos dirigimos al “mirador” a orillas
del mítico Amazonas.
Allí contemplamos
las vistas y el atardecer pero eso nos hizo dar cuenta de la magnificencia del
Rio y de lo que nos deparará el Amazonas en su inmensidad.
Para apaliar el
calor sofocante y la humedad decidimos tomar una caipiriña y regresar a
Colombia para ver el famoso parque de los “loritos.
Llegamos al parque
de los “loritos” que a partir de las 17.30h, loritos y golondrinas, confluyen
en ese lugar para alimentarse, dormir y resguardarse de las lluvias tropicales.
No penséis que se
avistan algunas de estos pájaros.
El ruido es
ensordecedor creado por cientos y cientos de estas aves que sobre las 20h, se
hace un silencio absoluto en espera de las 5.30h de la mañana donde el mismo
ruido del inicio te despierta conjuntamente con el Alba en su partida hacia su
destino diario.
Esto es lo que ves
solo llegar pero lo más chocante es que este lugar se encuentra en el centro de
la ciudad con su bullicio correspondiente.
La sensación es
impresionante y en ese momento sabes que la experiencia solo está comenzando.
La incertidumbre de lo que nos espera está por llegar , ese es el
presentimiento pero nunca imaginaríamos
la belleza pendiente de experimentar.
En Leticia, como en
toda Colombia, se duerme poco. Uno se levanta sobre las 6.30h de la mañana y en
ese momento el día empieza para todos
pero para nosotros era el comienzo de nuestra pequeña aventura, destino: La
reserva de Marasha (Perú).
Dicho así parece
coger el autobús y listo pero el viaje solo empezaba en el embarcadero de
Leticia.

This is the last trip from Colombia that will
do for now. Destination: Leticia. It is a place where three countries,
Colombia, Brazil and Peru meet.
Leticia is a city located in the extreme south
of Colombia. It is the capital of the Department of Amazonas. Despite being

an important commercial link with Brazil due to its location on the border city

The trip started in Bogota, Leticia arrived
after two hours of air travel. Sorry, Leticia took 5 days and now I can explain
first-person experience. It has been an exciting experience but very
instructive in turn. I recommend it.
Leticia is a safe, full of friendly people and
live help for your business. The first I visited was Tabatinga. It is at the
western end of the state of Amazonas along the Amazon River Brazilian city.
Tabatinga is an Indian word in the Tupi language means much viscosity white clay,
which is found at the bottom of rivers, and it also means small house.
You can access the city via water or air; there
is no communication with Earth Manaus.
We visited the city, its streets and shops.
From there, we headed to the "lookout" on the banks of the mythical
Amazons.
Here we see the view and sunset but it made us
realize the magnificence of Rio and what will bring the Amazon in its
immensity.
To bear the sweltering heat and humidity
decided to take a caipirinha and return to Colombia to see the famous park of
"parrots”.
We reached the Park "parrots" that
from 17.30, parrots and swallows together in that place for food, sleep and
shelter from the tropical rains.
Do not think that some of these birds sighted.
The noise is deafening created by hundreds and
hundreds of these birds on the 20h, absolute silence is waiting for the 5:30
a.m. in the morning where the same noise wakes you start together with Alba in
his diary his departure destination .
This is what you see only reach but more
shocking is that this place is in the city center with its corresponding noise.
The feeling is awesome and then you know that
the experience is just beginning. The uncertainty of what awaits us is to come,
that's the hunch but never would imagine the outstanding beauty of experience.
In Leticia, Colombia and throughout little
sleep. One stands on 6.30 am in the morning and then the day begins for
everyone but for us it was the beginning of our adventure destination:
Reserving Marasha (Peru).
That it seems to take the bus and go but the
journey only began at Pier Leticia.
