En Marzo estuve en Sao Paulo por temas de trabajo pero desde luego,

intenté reservarme algunas horas para poder campar a mis anchas por la ciudad o mejor dicho, por parte de ella debido a su inmensidad.

Me sorprendieron muchas cosas , su belleza, su poder, la atmosfera que se respira, su naturaleza… pero sobre todo la belleza de las mujeres y la perfección estética que se puede ver en cualquier rincón de una calle.

Yo me dije , ¿Cómo pueden ser tan preciosas todas? Pues bien, salvo excepciones, las operaciones de estética están a la orden del día.

En Japón una chica ahorra durante mucho tiempo para comprarse un bolso de alta gama pues en Brasil hacen lo mismo pero para ser bellas y lo consiguen.

Pues bien, como me ha parecido muy interesante el tema, he indagado y he encontrado los siguientes datos obtenidos de la asociación ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic

Plastic Surgery).

El ISAPS Survey representa los primeros datos internacionales fiables de cirugía plástica obtenidos y analizados por especialistas estadísticos independientes.

Tendencias geográficas

La encuesta global de ISAPS reveló una nueva jerarquía de países con las intervenciones cosméticas más quirúrgicas y menos quirúrgicas. Mientras que Estados Unidos sigue dominando en este campo, otros países que no se suelen asociar con la cirugía plástica están emergiendo como importantes centros.

Durante los últimos diez años, la opinión general ha sido que el aumento de pecho era la operación de cirugía estética más popular. La encuesta general de ISAPS revela una nueva tendencia en la que la liposucción representa el 18,8% de todas las intervenciones quirúrgicas, seguida del aumento de pecho que representa el 17%, la blefaroplastia (elevación del párpado inferior o superior) que es un 13,5%, la rinoplastia( modificación de la forma de la nariz) que supone un 9,4% y la abdominoplastia ("Tummy Tuck") que representa un 7,3%. La popularidad de las intervenciones quirúrgicas variaba en función del país, con Brasil, Estados Unidos, China, México, India y Japón los países dominantes para las 5 intervenciones principales.

Reflejando ambos avances en la innovación de la cirugía cosmética y el deseo de tratamientos menos caros, la cantidad de intervenciones no quirúrgicas realizadas por cirujanos plásticos superó las intervenciones

quirúrgicas. Mientras que no haya información de referencia previa con la cual poder comparar estas cifras, no cabe duda de que los acontecimientos han dado un giro drástico.

Las 5 principales intervenciones quirúrgicas son:

inyecciones de toxinas o neuromoduladores (Botox, Dysport) (32,7%), inyecciones de ácido hialurónico (20,1%), depilación láser (13,1%), inyecciones de grasa autóloga (transferir la grasa de una parte del pacientes otra parte del mismo) (5,9%) y tratamiento láser IP (4,4%). 

Los países donde principalmente llevaron a cabo intervenciones no quirúrgicas fueron Estados Unidos, Brasil, México y China, y en menor grado Japón, Hungría, Corea del Sur, India y Alemania.

The ISAPS Global Survey revealed a new hierarchy of countries with the most surgical cosmetic procedures and less surgical. While the United States continues to dominate in this field, other countries not usually associated with plastic surgery are emerging as important centers.

ISAPS The overall survey reveals a new trend in which liposuction represents 18.8% of all surgical procedures, followed by breast augmentation representing 17%, blepharoplasty (eyelid lift lower or higher) which is a 13.5%, rhinoplasty (modifying the shape of the nose) representing 9.4% and abdominoplasty ("Tummy Tuck") representing 7.3%. The popularity of surgical procedures varied by country with Brazil, USA, China, Mexico, India and Japan the dominant countries for the 5 major interventions.

Reflecting both advances in cosmetic surgery innovation and the desire for less expensive treatments, the number of interventions performed by plastic surgeons surgical interventions exceeded

surgical. While there is no prior reference information with which to compare these figures, it is clear that events have taken a drastic turn.

 

The top 5 surgical procedures are:

toxins or neuromodulators injections (Botox, Dysport) (32.7%), hyaluronic acid injections (20.1%), laser hair removal (13.1%), autologous fat injections (transfer fat from one part of the patients another part thereof) (5.9%) and IP laser treatment (4.4%).

The countries mainly performed surgical interventions were the United States, Brazil, Mexico and China, and to a lesser extent Japan, Hungary, South Korea, India and Germany.
