escrito por Francisco Carrión aunque yo he hecho algún cambio, resumen e
a mí me dio igual.
Luego, asistimos a
varios cursos de manejo de armamento. Todo depende de la situación en el
frente.

LAS KURDAS AND THE
CALIFAT
There is much ignorance about women, in all
respects. But as we read, investigate, and listen, we realize that the world of
women is advancing, even at a slow speed due to the inconveniences encountered
along the way, which in some cases can lead to death.
That is why I am proud of these women, who,
above all, are their dignity and their courage. That force that makes them
advance or at least show others that there is something beyond the barriers
that different societies impose on us even if that means dying, or being
repudiated by families.
It is the women who frighten the IS: Kurds who take
up arms to avenge the rapes and murders of their "sisters." Jihadists
believe that if they fall into their hands they will not go to paradise.

some change, summary and inclusion of some paragraph.
5 km from the front, the Peshmerga, the troops
of Iraqi Kurdistan. Dense columns of smoke climb the horizon. The building that
stands before his eyes looks ghostly: its skeleton, reduced to a plant, seems
eaten by abandonment. Their half-built stays, however, are the headquarters of
one of the few female units of the peshmerga. In their barracks, a women's
troupe is signing the settlement of accounts against those who have been
subjugated, raped, murdered or buried under the cloth of a niqab to the Iraqi
and Syrian "sisters" trapped in their territory.
Hasiba Nauzad, 24, tall and robust, was the
first to join the army and has since led this squad of 30 women. "Decided
to take up arms a few years ago when I saw on television the dramatic situation
that was lived here," reports in military uniform. Kalashnikov in ristre,
wanders in rooms where family photographs adorn walls and mirrors as a reminder
of absences and resignations of his guests. "When I took the step, I was
in Istanbul preparing with my husband the trip to Europe" "He did not
like the idea but I did not care. I packed up and went home. He left for
Germany and I came here. I have not seen him or seen anything of him. "The
strength with which he marks his words is not an isolated case in this
quartering. The army of the indigenous Kurdistan region administered by the
Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan opened its doors to women
in 1996.
Naima Jalil is 25 years old and comes from
Mount Sinyar, home of the punished Yazidis, followers of a faith linked to
Zoroastrianism that the jihadists consider "worshipers of the devil"
.. "when I told my parents my intentions, they rejected him but I did not
change my plan and here I am to defend my land. They, instead, went to Germany.
Naima, however, does not feel too much
nostalgia for the existence of the bearded people: before they burst into her
street, she had left school after finishing high school and earned her salary
as a clerk in a shop in Sinyar, a city Released last November of which there
are scarcely the ruins.
The van that carries them crosses a wilderness
at full speed. On board, the brigade shares a lively discussion as if its
members were alien to their destination. "There are no closed hours here.
We got up around six in the morning to train.
Then, we attended several courses in weapons
management. It all depends on the situation on the front. The only rule is that
we work 10 days and we rest so many. "
Hala, 20, in a woman released and smiling:
"My family lives in a refugee camp. We fled from Syrian Kurdistan and when
we arrived here, we realized that the situation was not much better. So I come
to fight. In my house I am the only one who has taken up arms. My parents are
happy with my courage. "
In Teleskuf, Christian village abandoned by its
inhabitants, was the place where last May dozens of kamikazes attacked the
Kurdish uniformed. In the fray did not miss this unit of women. "We have
suffered some hardships but everything relieves the feeling that I am protecting
our country. We have no fear, "he confesses to the rifle.
Farida Ali is the veteran of the squad. The
wrinkles that begin to change his face stand out among the 20's that show the
smooth skin of his colleagues. In a conservative society, where most females
live in the home, Farida is a strange exception. "I am 35 years old.
Before enrolling, I lived with my parents and siblings. I used to do housework.
Three of my brothers are also peshmerga, "this had always been my dream
but, until now, there were too many obstacles to fulfill when I heard generals
encouraging women to sign up as volunteers, I did not hesitate. In my
environment surprised my decision but, for me, this is not something temporary.
It's the life I want to live. "
Not even the sermons of some ulemas, reluctant
to join them to what has hitherto been a contest of men, have canceled their
determination. "I do not mind the words of the rest. I have the support of
my family and that is enough for me, "answers Farida.
Their existence is not simple, rather
precarious, they cook their own food from the ranch with food donated by local
merchants. It is a unit that fights to go first to the attacks, are prepared to
fight, to repel suicidal attacks and to overcome the traps of the enemy.
The terror infused by a battalion of armed
women in the heart of the mujahideen is a flash of pride in this unique
barracks. "Daesh military fears Kurdish women. We are too much for them.
Their leaders have issued a warning among their militants: they have been told
that if they fall into the hands of women they will never reach paradise, says
Naima.
