Fuente: integral

KUNG O QI GONG
This energetic gymnastics, is an ancient
Chinese system of postures, exercises, breathing techniques and meditation
designed to improve the body's energy flow or "qi".

exercises that stimulate the body's vital energy.
It comes from the Chinese gymnastics and until
recently was only accessible to very few people. Today this art is giving, both
East and here in the West, with great results.
Its therapeutic benefits are varied and can be
practiced at any age or level of fitness.
As is the purpose of achieving physical, psycho
emotional and spiritual balance that allows us to lead a harmonious existence
and react appropriately to all situations. His practice is based on slow,
controlled movements that require muscular effort and do not cause cardiac
acceleration.
Should be made with greater muscle relaxation
possible and coordinated with the breath, while we focus the concentration in
specific areas.
Through these exercises the attention span and
concentration is increased, the ratio is improved body-mind and better control
emotions.
Provides, physical benefits such as muscle
toning, strengthening joints and energy balance, preventing the onset of
disease and help treat those already suffering.
The first studies of qi gong show that brings
so important to regulate body systems and increase the body's immunity against
disease benefits. As regards the nervous system is very effective for those
suffering from neurasthenia because it helps them relax and recover the sleep
rhythm. Also directly affect blood circulation and heart, and there are various
methods to regulate blood pressure. His movements also have a beneficial effect
on the digestive system that facilitates intestinal transit and secretion of
gastric juices. It also stimulates the secretion of the hormone glands, which
speeds up the metabolism and helps to regulate weight.
All sessions start with a warm up, followed by
different postures, movements, breathing techniques and mental exercises or
meditation. It is said that qi-gong movements were inspired by the wild animals
because they combine strength, harmony and balance. There are specific
movements to specific diseases and others to maintain overall health.
First you work on body structure because the
material is easier to feel and represents our roots. Continue on to something
bodiless and subtle, working with the breath and intention.
Initially, qi-gong helps us raise awareness of
our own body, allowing us to meet, relax and unlock it. The physical structure
is working globally first and then to re-unify parts later.
This awareness will reveal where there is
fluidity and where blocks, and make us feel participants in the session.
The qi-gong exercises can be performed in any
order. Repeat six times each to start and increase as they are assimilated. The
basic postures are easy to learn, and can even be practiced in a wheelchair or
bed.
The importance of breath
The breath is used as a bellows to allow the
breath is to direct us. Breathing is the union between body and spirit, so
learn to move from the breath takes us by the hand to the next level: the use
of intention, where awareness is directed to install and enhance the channel
network in the physical and energetic bodies moving the qi as a specific
intent.
To perceive and encourage her soft harmonious
movement to and need us to train mental calm and intent .; thus increase our
physical, mental and spiritual capacities. At this level, as we have already
internalized the sequence of movements coordinated with the breath, we have our
full attention to listen and follow our vital fluid and detect blockages and
limitations.
We also used the mind and intention to promote
energy and direct it toward a goal that can be physical, mental or spiritual.
