MI VISITA MEDELLIN
Me sorprendió. Llegué al
aeropuerto internacional pensando
que llegaba al regional así que el comienzo
no fue muy espectacular , que digamos.
Pero bajamos hacia la ciudad , la
enorme ciudad como todo aquí. Paseando por Rio Negro con unos paisajes que
prometían. Verde , exuberantes, y con un sol maravilloso.
Llegamos a la ciudad donde
descubrimos los diferentes departamentos que existen y lo juntos que pueden
llegar a estar.
La gente un 10 amables,
serviciales, cuando preguntas te responden y te explican, así que se hace
“fácil “ la movilidad.
El clima templado de Medellín es
llamado “la eterna primavera”, se puede disfrutar de sus 18ºC a 28ºC, entre la
majestuosidad de sus montañas y la fresca brisa de sus paisajes.
El viento se origina de norte a
sur, permitiendo una brisa fresca durante buena parte del año.
Lo primero que hicimos fue
visitar la parte céntrica de la ciudad y cogimos el metro, excelente transporte
para moverse. Lo que más me chocó fue el contraste entre la zona donde yo
estaba hospedada y el centro donde se veía pobreza y gente durmiendo en el
suelo pero también habían maravillas por descubrir como la plaza Botero donde
se podían admirar algunas de sus obras cedidas por el mismo artista a la
ciudad.
Hay algo que me gustaría
mencionar y que las grandes ciudades europeas deberíamos tomar nota y es el
respeto por el arte y por lo que podríamos llamar el mobiliario urbano, nada
estaba roto, pintado, dañado. Todo ciudadano respeta como suyo cualquiera de
las obras que hay expuestas y de todo banco ubicado por cada municipio.
Luego fui a visitar el Museo
histórico de Antioquia, que se encuentra en la misma plaza de Botero. Allí
pudimos ver algo inédito e interesante. El Museo cuenta con 3 pisos , en los
cuales la tercera planta se expone la colección privada de Botero donde se
pueden ver , Rodin, Tapias y un sinfín de obras estilo abstracto. Chocante si
tenemos en cuenta su estilo.
Tuvimos mucha suerte ese dia, pues
se encontraba un chico muy entendido en las obras privadas de Botero y nos
estuvo explicando el significado de algunas obras haciendo de la visita, aún
más si cabe , interesante y humana.
Por ejemplo el Rodin, dijo que
compro la obra porque él nunca hubiera podido ver una obra de él, si no fuera
por su éxito y posición, por tanto adquiriéndola daba la oportunidad a su
pueblo de ver algo que nunca podrían contemplar de otra forma.
Luego había un cuadro compuesto
de múltiples colores aplicados por múltiples brochas y en medio diferentes
instrumentos. Todo ello significaba la forma de percibir, entender y ver la
música que cada uno tiene y todas diferentes.
Merece la pena.
También paseamos por la ciudad
viendo plaza Cisneros o plaza de la luz , la cual se compone por diversas
agujas apuntando al cielo y ofreciendo un entorno interesante y diferente. Al
lado el edificio Carré y Vasques; declarados en 1988 como Patrimonio Histórico
y Artístico de la Nación, y enfrente
podemos ver un par de construcciones estilo colonial, de lo poco que queda en
la ciudad. El Edificio del Antiguo ferrocarril… la verdad es que es una ciudad
entretenida donde el tiempo corre deprisa.
También es una ciudad con gran
actividad nocturna, por ejemplo, las noches en la Plaza del Poblado se llena de
punkis con sus atuendos característicos. Es una plaza grande, amplia repleta de
pequeños bares, y negocios donde venden de buñuelos, cafés, etc…
También tenemos la zona rosa,
lugar donde todos los restaurantes se agolpan ofreciendo una gran oferta
culinaria teniendo como base la comida paisa, típica del lugar pero cuidado
pues si no se está acostumbrado, puede ser demasiado fuerte para el estómago.
Mañana vamos a visitar el Peñol y

MY VISIT MEDELLIN
I was surprised. I arrived at the international
airport thinking that reached the regional so the beginning was not very
spectacular, to say.
But we went down to the city, the huge city
like everything here. Walking in Rio Black with promising landscapes. Green,
lush, and with a wonderful sun.
We got into town where we discovered that there
are different departments and together they can become.
10 people a friendly, helpful when they answer
questions and explain to you, so it becomes "easy" mobility.
The temperate climate of Medellín is called
"eternal spring", you can enjoy its 18 º C to 28 º C, between
majestic mountains and the cool breeze of its landscapes.
The wind originates from north to south,
allowing a cool breeze for much of the year.
The first thing we did was visit the downtown
part of the city and took the subway, excellent transportation to move. What
struck me was the contrast between the area where I was staying and center
where people looked poor and sleeping on the floor but there were also plenty
of things like Botero square where you could admire some of his works provided
by the same Artist to the city.
There is something I would like to mention that
the great European cities should take note and respect for the art and for what
we might call street furniture, nothing was broken, painted, damaged. Every
citizen respects as any of his works that are exposed and all bank located in
each municipality.
Then I went to visit the Historical Museum of
Antioquia, located in the Plaza de Botero. There we could see something
unprecedented and interesting. The museum has 3 floors, in which the third
floor Botero's private collection where you can see, Rodin, Tapias and endless
abstract style works exposed. Shocking when you consider your style.
We were very lucky that day because a guy very
knowledgeable in private and we Botero was explaining the meaning of some works
by the visit, even more so, was interesting and human.
For example, Rodin, said he bought the work
because he had never seen a piece of it, if not for his success and position,
thus acquiring it gave the opportunity for the people to see something they
could never contemplate otherwise.
Then there was a box made up of multiple colors
applied by multiple brushes and among different instruments. All this meant the
way we perceive, understand and see the music that everyone has and all
different.
It is beautiful , I recommend it.
We also walked into town looking Cisneros
square or square of light, which is composed by several hands pointing to the
sky and offering an interesting and different environment. Beside the building
Carré and Vasques; declared in 1988 as a Historical and Artistic Heritage of
the Nation, and in front we can see a couple of colonial buildings, from what
little is left in the city. The Old Railway Building ... the truth is that it
is an entertaining city where time runs faster.
It is also a city with great nightlife, for
example, the nights in the Village Square was full of punks with their
characteristic costumes. It is a large square, wide full of small bars and
shops which sell donuts, coffee, etc ...
We also have the pink zone, where all the
restaurants are crowded offering a great dining tender basis paisa food,
typical of the place but watch for if you are not used, may be too strong for
the stomach.
Tomorrow we will visit the Guatapé Peñol and
they told me it's great, so I tell you.
