Internacional Jazz Barcelona: Omar Sosa-Paolo Fresu y Cristina Pato
Hola amigas/os,
Hoy vamos a hablar de un espectáculo que fui a ver el 30 de
Noviembre. Fue una actuación de Jazz :
Omar Sosa, simplemente fantástico, Paolo Fresu, soberbio y Cristina Pato.. no
hay palabras para describir lo que sentí al oír su música.
Cuando Antonio eligió el concierto pensamos, “esto promete”
pero creedme , cubrió de sobras nuestras expectativas.
Fue un concierte sorprendente que además me creaba una expectación especial . Omar Sosa (piano),
Paolo Fresu ( trompeta) y Cristina Pato (gaita).
En primer lugar Omar y Paolo empezaron a interpretar los
temas correspondientes a su nuevo trabajo Alma y eso fue lo que nos ofrecieron,
sus almas y esa sensibilidad y fuerza que solo grandes intérpretes como ellos poseen,
haciéndonos vibrar a todos los espectadores. Fue un concierto lleno de
emotividad, música experimental mezclado con el clasicismo del jazz de siempre
pero con algo especial, la puesta en escena de aquellos amigos que después de
varios años sin verse deciden tocar todo aquello que sale del “alma” y que
necesitan expresar.
Omar, exprimió su piano llegando hasta sus entrañas para
sacar todo sonido acompasado y ritmo. Paolo con su trompeta nos hizo pensar en
ese apasionamiento que un amante ofrece a su estimada cuando la ve y decide
ofrecerle todo lo que tiene dentro.
Pensamos que ya no
podríamos ver más y que el espectáculo había llegado a su clímax pero … amigos,
nos equivocamos pues aún quedaba mucho
por sentir y experimentar y fue con la
aparición de Cristina Pato cuando llegó el punto más álgido del espectáculo.
Fue chocante porque Cristina entro al escenario con paso
firme pero con timidez frente a lo
desconocido. Todos contuvimos la respiración pues, supongo que pensamos, “ Dios
y como va a incluir la gaita?”, se sentó y en ese momento… hizo de voz a sus compañeros y el espectáculo
siguió creciendo .
La actuación de Cristina fue espectacular, con ella apareció
la pasión, la sensualidad y la entrega plena de aquel que ama lo que hace .
Fue una interpretación soberbia, madura y segura; obligaba
al espectador a no perder detalle. Fue capaz de conseguir gemidos y pasión de
su gaita, gritos y profundidad de su instrumento y si eso fuera poco su
interpretación-fusión galaico-cubana de una muñeira, que yo sin ser gallega me
emociono y cautivo. Nunca un espectáculo me transmitió tanta fuerza y emoción,
tanto entusiasmo, dedicación y entrega. Una gran evolución profesional, creed
me.
Sin duda 3 grandes artistas amantes del jazz que nos
mostraron como puede evolucionar la música de un clásico a un punto de
electrónica- experimental pero siempre conservando el amor por el arte y por el
gran talento liderado por Omar Sosa que nunca decepciona.

Today we
will talk about a show that I went to see the November 30. It was a performance
of Jazz: Omar Sosa, just fantastic, Paolo Fresu, arrogant and Cristina Pato ..
there are no words to describe what I felt when I heard his music.
When
Antonio chose the concert thought, "this promises" but believe me,
our expectations too well covered.
It was a
surprise that I also conclude created a special buzz. Omar Sosa (piano),
Paolo Fresu (trumpet) and Cristina Pato (bagpipe).
First and
Paolo Omar began to interpret the themes for his new Soul and that's what they
offered, their souls and that sensitivity and strength that only great
performers as they possess, making us vibrate all viewers. It was a concert
full of emotion, experimental music mixed with jazz classicism but always
something special, the staging of those friends who after several years without
being touched decide everything that comes out of the "soul" and they
need to express .
Omar,
squeezed his piano reaching her womb to remove all rhythmic sound and rhythm.
Paolo with his trumpet made us think that a loving passion that offers its
esteemed when he sees and decides to give everything he has inside.
We could no longer see the show and had
reached its climax but ... friends, we were wrong because more needed to feel
and experience and was with the appearance of Cristina Pato when he reached the
height of the show.
Cristina
was shocking because it came on stage steadily but timidly against the unknown.
All held our breath then, I guess we thought, "God and will include the
bagpipes?", Sat down and then ... did voice his companions and the show
continued to grow.
Cristina's
performance was spectacular, she appeared with passion, sensuality and full
delivery of the one who loves what he does.
It was a
superb performance, mature and safe, forcing the viewer to get a closer look.
He was able to get moans and passion of his bagpipes, cries and depth of his
instrument and it off-fusion interpretation of a Galician-Cuban muñeira, that I
would be thrilled and enthralled me Galician. Never a show gave me so much
strength and emotion, the enthusiasm, dedication and commitment. A great career
progression, believe me.
Definitely
three great artists of jazz lovers who showed us how music can evolve from a
classical point of electronic-experimental but always keeping the love of art
and the great talent led by Omar Sosa that never disappoints.
