Ayer y aprovechando que las
previsiones del tiempo
Que no se nos prive del
disfrute de un lugar tan mágico y especial por la dificultad de encontrar el
lugar.
Para llegar desde Coruña no
es muy difícil si alguien conoce las carreteras y la ruta o bien se orienta
bien. Se coge la autopista A-6 dirección Ferrol hacia Cabanas y allí se coge
dirección As Pontes. Luego se coge la AG-64 dirección Villalba hacia Viveiro
Lu-540 . A partir de aquí hay que buscar el desvio hacia Fuciño do Porco pero
CUIDADO!!! El indicador es pequeño y hay que fijarse mucho. Incluyo una
fotografía del indicador para que lo tengáis presente. También sirve tener como
referencia la playa de Abrela.
Al llegar al parking o zona
habilitada para dejar el coche, empieza la ruta que SI está debidamente
señalizada llevándonos hasta “O Fuciño do Porco”, también conocido como Punta
Socastro, pero su parecido con el hocico de un cerdo le dio ese su nombre tan
atractivo.
Es un saliente de la costa en
El Concello lucense de O Vicedo bañado por las aguas del Mar Cantábrico en La
Ría de Viveiro. Nosotros iniciamos la caminata por el camino que marca O Fuciño
do Porco, cuidado porque encontraréis dos desvíos a la derecha. El primero que
os llevará a Punta dos Monxes donde hay una playita pequeña entre acantilados y
de muy difícil acceso pero las vistas son maravillosas.

El segundo desvio os llevará a
Punta do monte quemado donde el paraje es encantador. Yo recomiendo hacerlos
pueden ser al principio y puede ser de bajada. Es interesante ya que tendréis
una visión global del lugar y sus acantilados desde Fuciño do Porco y desde el
otro lado. Merece la pena.
Continuamos el camino hacia o
Fuciño do Porco por donde pasearemos viendo los eucaliptos grandes y los nuevos
que toman un color azulado intenso. La flora del lugar también es muy
interesante ya que se puede ver todo el camino salpicado de amarillos, blancos,
malvas… y todos los tonos de verde que un humano puede ver e identificar.
El sendero se estrecha pero hay
habilitadas pasarelas de madera para que podamos caminar tranquilos teniendo a
dónde agarrarnos. En cualquier caso, no es necesario pues el sendero es
totalmente seguro y está vigilado. El espectáculo está servido , tanto si se
mira a la derecha, la izquierda, delante, detrás… pues los acantilados, las
islas, las pasarelas de madera con escalinata zigzagueando por toda la ladera
es impresionante. Nosotros tuvimos muy buen tiempo y por tanto la belleza fue
mayúscula.
Cuando llegas a la punta del
acantilado, ver como rompen las olas en él produce una fuerza y una energía
indescriptible, por tanto el espectáculo está servido. Desde allí, podemos ver
la isla de Coelleira importante por su interés ornitológico ya que en ellas se
crian, gaviotas, cuervos marinos y arao común. También es un paso migratorio de
aves que van desde Groenlancia, Islandia y el Norte de Europa hacía Africa.

Una vez visto todo y de hacer
fotografías para la inmortalidad, volvemos al origen por el mismo camino. Una
vez llegamos a la explanada donde dejamos el coche, continuamos por la
carretera hacia la Playa de Abrela. Ese tramo relativamente corto es por
asfalto pero al llegar a la Playa cogimos un pequeño sendero de tarima de
madera que se alarga un par de kilómetros viendo la grandeza de la playa y la
arena casi blanca donde todo parece mágico.
Aquí termino nuestra excursión
de unos 12 kilometros más o menos y con dificultad baja. Pido disculpas si en
algún nombre me he equivocado. Por favor de indicármelo.

Hiking: Playa de Abrela - Punta Socastro or Fuciño do Porco
Yesterday and taking advantage of the weather
forecasts were favorable, we decided to make the route o Fuciño de Porco in O
Vicedo. But before beginning to describe the route I want to make a
constructive comment to the concellos that correspond. That comment and
recommendation are the signs. Always think of people who do not know the place,
and therefore, it must be made easy and with clear and very visible signs. I do
not think that the investment is very expensive and signaling in a simple,
colorful and easy does not require much effort, only a minimum follow up.
Do not deprive us of the enjoyment of a place
so magical and special because of the difficulty of finding the place.
To get from Coruña is not very difficult if
someone knows the roads and the route or is well oriented. Take the A-6
motorway towards Ferrol towards Cabanas and there take the direction As Pontes.
Then take the AG-64 towards Villalba towards Viveiro Lu-540. From here you have
to look for the detour towards Fuciño do Porco but BEWARE !!! The indicator is
small and you have to look a lot. I include a photograph of the indicator so
you have it in mind. It also serves as reference the beach of Abrela.
When you arrive at the car park or zone enabled
to leave the car, the route begins, which is properly signposted leading to
"O Fuciño do Porco", also known as Punta Socastro, but its
resemblance to the snout of a pig gave that name attractive.
It is a coastal outcrop in El Concello lucense
de O Vicedo bathed by the waters of the Cantabrian Sea in La Ria de Viveiro. We
start the walk along the road that marks O Fuciño do Porco, be careful because
you will find two detours to the right. The first one that will take you to
Punta dos Monxes where there is a small beach between cliffs and very difficult
access but the views are wonderful.
The second detour will take you to Punta do
Monte burned where the place is charming. I recommend doing them can be at the
beginning and can be downhill. It is interesting since you will have an overall
view of the place and its cliffs from Fuciño do Porco and from the other side. Worth.
We continue the road to Fuciño do Porco where
we will walk seeing the big eucalyptus trees and the new ones that take on an
intense blue color. The flora of the place is also very interesting since you
can see all the way dotted with yellow, white, mauve ... and all the shades of
green that a human can see and identify.
The path narrows but there are wooden walkways
so that we can walk quietly with where to grab us. In any case, it is not
necessary because the path is totally safe and is guarded. The show is served,
whether you look to the right, to the left, to the front, to the back ... for
the cliffs, the islands, the wooden walkways with stairways zigzagging up the
hillside is impressive. We had very good weather and therefore the beauty was
capital.
When you reach the tip of the cliff, see how
they break the waves in it produces an indescribable strength and energy, so
the show is served. From there, we can see the island of Coelleira important
for its ornithological interest as they are raised, seagulls, sea crows and
common arabo. It is also a migratory passage of birds ranging from Greenland,
Iceland and Northern Europe to Africa.
If we look to the left, having the island in
front of us, we can see the beach of Xilloi and above the cliff is a viking
settlement. As you see the place has many attractions and cultural interest. If
we look to the right we can see Illote Gaveira.
Having seen everything and taking photographs
for immortality, we return to the origin along the same path. Once we got to
the esplanade where we left the car, we continue along the road towards Playa
de Abrela. This relatively short stretch is by asphalt but on reaching the
beach we took a small wooden pallet path that stretches for a couple of
kilometers seeing the greatness of the beach and almost white sand where everything
seems magical.
Here we finish our excursion about 12 km or so
and with low difficulty. I apologize if in any name I have been wrong. Please
