No habían
incluyendo alguna frase propia.
Recuerdo estar
Me sentía vulnerable. Obediente.
sustancias”, me dijo.
me desconcierta.
Pronto me quedo dormido.
Pero a las 2:37h
me vuelvo a despertar algo desubicado, con
mucho calor y mareado.
Regreso a casa

BURUNDANGA
There were not enough drugs on the market that
we now face the worst, in my opinion. The drug that nullifies any hint of human
resistance is called Burundanga.
This post is created with the intention of
informing anyone who reads it and takes it into account when in a disco,
popular party or place where it can be supplied without our knowledge.
Burundanga is a drug that annuls the will of
the victim in a few minutes. It is as if the victim was "hypnotized"
by his aggressor. The brain is automated by doing what is ordered and
responding uncensored.
1,227 rapes throughout 2015. Of these, in 31%,
the victim claims to have been subjected to some type of drug, mainly burundanga.
That is, one in three.
What is burundanga?
Scopolamine, also known as burundanga, is an
extremely toxic tropic alkaloid found as a secondary metabolite in certain
plants.
Its use dates back several centuries, mainly
for ritual purposes, in shamanism and witchcraft. Its use has now been reported
in crimes such as robbery or rape.
Where does it come
from?
The drug is extracted from a plant known as
Datura Estramonio, ornamental in appearance and very simple to find in Spain
and Latin America. From the branches blooms a white flower and bell-shaped
seeds composed of two alkaloids, hyoscyamine and scopolamine.
Scopolamine is an extreme relaxant whose active
ingredient, mixed with different chemicals, gives rise to burundanga
Does it have medicinal
effects?
Scopolamine in tiny doses (less than 330
micrograms) is used to prevent and treat dizziness, dilation of the pupil in
examinations of the fundus and even as antispasmodic, local analgesic and
antiparkinsonian.
What happens when you
consume burundanga?
The drug is rapidly absorbed through the
gastrointestinal tract and has a great ability to traverse the blood-brain
barrier, thus having an almost immediate effect. Burundanga acts as an
anticholinergic and causes a depressant effect of the central and peripheral
nervous system.
How does the victim
feel?
Contrary to what happens when other narcotic
drugs are consumed, the victim apparently does not appear drugged, so it is
very difficult for people around to perceive that he is under the effects of
that drug.
"It is as if the victim were"
hypnotized "at the hands of his aggressor." It completely eliminates
free will. "The brain is automated by doing what it is ordered and
responding uncensored. Victim does not fully remember what happened while he
was drugged, "explains Manuel Reinoso, a medical specialist in toxicology.
How is it detected?
According to police experts lament is very
difficult to detect. In blood it disappears in less than six hours and in
urine, in 12.
In this sense, the few reports that are presented
of sexual assaults under the effects of this drug stand out due to the loss or
diminution of memory, derived from the drugs that were administered to them by
the aggressors.
In addition, if the victim does not go to their
emergency health center, it can not be proved that they have been drugged. For
this reason, the Institute of Toxicology urges that they be presented
immediately, since the delay in formulating it prevents "adequate
collection and identification of samples". Www.lainformacion.com
In the world the reporter Lucas de la Cal
undergoes this drug to live in first person the effects and so it describes us.
Your article has been summarized by me including some own phrase.
I remember being in a kind of magical realism
in which the objects became more and more diffused. The unreal seemed normal.
The voice of the doctor watching me captivated my mind. I felt vulnerable.
Obedient. It had only been an hour or so since I poured the powder of a
yellowish white into the wine glass. I tried scopolamine at doses of less than
five milligrams.
It is such a powerful drug that it disappears
in the body in a few hours. In just 13 minutes, the sedative effect of the
burundanga changed my behavior. I felt the most vulnerable and sensitive person
on the planet but I did not become a docile zombie nor did I get up the next
day without remembering anything, as most of the victims report. Although I
still have several gaps in my subconscious that I can not solve.
We were located in a small flat in the center
of Madrid accompanied by a medical friend who would watch over my safety and
who would do a medical follow-up. The doctor was prepared for any eventuality,
but I had asked an ethnobotanical friend what he recommended to me if the
effect was very strong. "A few grains of sea salt under the tongue. That
would bring you back to earth. Then, when the effect subsides, take a teaspoon
full of magnesium sulfate salts dissolved in a glass of water to quickly purge
the substances, "he told me.
At 23:40 I give the first sip of wine with half
the dose of burundanga; 13 minutes later I feel dry mouth. I pour myself
another drink while my friend starts to write in her notebook.
At 23:59 a.m. the heat engulfs me and the beads
of sweat fall on the nape of the neck. I need to open the window, even if there
is no air at all. Two minutes later, I feel a slight dizziness and I sit down
on the couch again.
The talk goes on normally, until at 0:12 the
pupils start to get mydriatic I feel a little photophobia. The dim light of the
old lamp that hangs from the ceiling, I feel that it emits a strong flash, it
annoys me very much in the eyes. My mouth is getting drier every time. I have
another glass of wine.
At 0: 21h the doctor starts asking me questions
that, while I am writing this story, I still do not remember. In the notebook I
see that it is written that I suffer from a systematic block and generalized
asthenia. "He does not know how to add and he changes his voice to an
increasingly heavy tone," reads the note.
I watch the video that was recorded at 0: 28h
lying on the couch explaining how I feel. In the image I have the very colored
cheeks and glassy eyes ... the note in the notebook pointed at 0:47 is the one
that puzzles me the most. He states that I block myself three times at the same
point in the same story that I tell my friend .... At 0:58 a.m. I had no heat
or sweating. In the notes it says that I am disoriented and sleepy. If I
remember seeing the objects on the shelf growing bigger ... I was hypnotized by
the colors.
After one o'clock in the morning, the head
gives me more turns than ever and I fall asleep. In bed, in the dark, my eyes
sting and my mouth is drying again. He gives me a tick in the knee with small
spasms. I soon fall asleep.
But at 2: 37h I wake up again something out of
place, very hot and dizzy. I can not stop scratching my head ....
The alarm
clock rings at 7:30. For a person who almost never has a hangover, that tone of
the cell phone made me go back to the awakenings of the drunk trip to Punta
Cana, where I went with my college mates mid-race.
My head burns but I do not experience any
sensation I have not had before. I think I remember quite well what I lived,
although when I read the notebook, there are some episodes that have been lost
in my memory.
I do the toxicological analysis but the police
and doctors warned me "it is very difficult to detect because the
scopolamine disappears at six hours and a normal analysis, as you do not do
immediately after consuming it, it does not detect it."
At 8:00 am in the morning, just over 8 hours
after giving my first drink to the glass of wine, I request a toxicological
test with a urinalysis in a hospital emergency department.
I return home and the hangover leads me
directly to the bathroom, but this time to vomit. Already recovered, at 12:00
the tests pass me. I give negative in all metabolic. "This type of testing
should be done with specialized equipment. In a simple urinalysis it is very
difficult to detect scopolamine if it is not done immediately after ingesting it.
"
What I did experience is the feeling that the
alkaloid numbs your brain and body, making you a vulnerable being.
