Parejas no amigos.
aprender a aceptar y a negociar situaciones.
·
debe estar siempre presente.
·
Seamos esposos y esposas no madres
y padres.

HOLIDAYS TOGETHER OR SEPARATED?
You never know it is better but
it is true that today working the couple the holidays are the most wanted by
both but ... to be together or separated?
There is everything like in
pharmacy, of course. Some couples want vacations to be together, share the time
that they can not do all year round and try to be and enjoy the family, but
there are others that due to the pressure, stress and lack of habit of sharing
time with family, holidays can have a bad end or be a little hell where no one
finds either its place or the peace so precious and that happens after summer,
the longest holiday period of the year.
Couples work all day and when
they return they have to take care of their children and of all the
requirements and necessities that it entails although the desire does not
accompany. This makes people start to overwhelm and begin to think that perhaps
it is better to be in the office. Both are overwhelmed because you have to work
to earn money and support the family but you also have to pay attention to the
children and take care of them and do not always fancy.
Is it known that the summer
holiday period is the most conflictive and that after him divorces considerably
increase the reason ?:
Lack
of routine. Day by day it has become a parapet where one lives automatically,
with haste and stress. There are some fixed habits: work, children, commitments
... and little time to reflect and to share as a couple.
Lack
of communication. By spending 24 hours together, communication is imperative
because if everything can not be a source of disputes: 'I want to or I do not
want to go down to the beach', 'I need to take a walk alone', 'you are not taking
care of children ... ', etc. Perhaps because both need time for themselves and
not to share, just to reflect.
Conflict
resolution. During the holidays, the couple's ability to reach agreements in a
peaceful manner is put to the test. The lack of communication takes force at
this time as they show up the problems that have been accumulating throughout
the year, which causes the reproaches and bad gestures are frequent during the
summer.
Political
family. Holidays shared with family members who are not always pleased by the
other, and less to spend all hours of the day, make the couples still add more
discussions in this period.
High
expectations. Sometimes you think, that being more rested and spending more
time together, problems and frictions will tend to be solved in these days off.
The expectations are so high that, on the other hand, what you end up feeling
is disappointment. The only way to solve problems or frictions is to talk and
discuss if necessary but leave them clear and give yourself another chance.
Couples
with friends. It tends to see the couple as such and the friendship has not
been cultivated, that makes the discussions, the negotiations, the agreements,
are interpreted as winning and defeated creating malaise.
The reasons for breaking up are
many and varied but perhaps you have to make a small incision and contemplate
the possibility of making the holiday "50% separated". 15 days with
the family and a week each with their friends or alone to enjoy our time and
our person. There are solutions, you can only choose the most suitable for each
family as long as they agree and that does not create friction or doubts on the
part of anyone.
Ideas to make summer bearable
• Lowering expectations is always
positive. Holidays are for rest but also for changing habits. If something
annoying is good look for another option that grumble or accept something we do
not like.
• Negotiating is important. You
can not always do what the other wants or what we want so you have to learn to
accept and negotiate situations.
• Be optimistic and get up saying
today I will only look at everything the other does well saying it is to start
on the right foot. It is positive and will encourage the other to be also. If
the atmosphere is pleasant everything will be easier. Do not forget to say
thanks and forgive, avoiding criticism disarms the opponent in one way or
another. Respect is essential and space too. Be friends before you pair.
• Exclusive time. You have to
find time for the couple. Going to dinner, taking a walk, bathing in the sea
... but we also have to have our own time to avoid dependencies and be able to
liberalize ourselves. You have to learn to have friends, go out with them and
not depend on the couple exclusively, that will make the prospects broad and have
more topics of conversation but care, that does not mean debauchery. Respect
must always be present.
• Reencounter is also good,
especially those couples who are separated by work. It is important to share,
then, time, travel, conversations ... to approach and take back the privacy
that we can not always enjoy. Let us be husbands and wives, not mothers and
fathers.
Think and meditate on what would
make us happy and what we really need for our environment and our partner to
grow positive and put it into practice. Let's talk to our partner about what we
need and see the possibility of putting it into practice. Only in this way can
we lead a full, happy and shared life.
