vitaminas C y E. Posee pocos azúcares y contiene fibra.

AÇAI: THE BERRY WITH MORE ANTIOXIDANTS THAT IS
FOUND IN THE AMAZON
When I
returned from my trip to South America, I came with a great naturist culture.
Because of all the products I knew and the knowledge that made me know and see
with my own eyes what the origin of life was. That does not mean that the
Amazon is the origin of life, no. I say that knowing nature at its maximum
splendor gave me a very solid and important awareness towards nature.
Above all,
the quantity of fruits, plants and generally edible products that for many
centuries have fed many tribes and populations. That's where I met Acai.
According to what I was told its origin is in the Amazon and that it is very
difficult to obtain since the natural productions like the cultivated ones are
all sold to the export. It is also possible to say that there are already farms
where these fruits are frozen to exploit more the exploitation and the export,
although without being contrasted, it is said that it could lose properties in
that process and at that time, they were still in tests and investigation.
In any
case, if I want to contribute some additional information to everything said,
and for that, I want to explain to you types of shakes and uses to get the most
out of that small and powerful berry.
Let's start
saying something basic and is that it is a fruit that comes from the palm of
açaí or manaca, autochthonous and extensively cultivated in the Amazon. Its
aspect is similar to the cranberry although of bigger size and with bone. Its
medicinal and strengthening use goes back to the first indigenous tribes: it
constituted 25% of its daily diet.
One of its
great nutritional qualities is its antioxidant power that far surpasses the
black grape and cranberry. Açai is rich in phenols and anthocyanins which is
responsible for its dark color.
But it not
only has that quality, it also gives us omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acids and
contains large amounts of betasisteroles "plant sterols", which
decrease the absorption of cholesterol and regulate their levels in blood. They
contribute minerals such as calcium, iron and phosphorus, provitamin A and
vitamins C and E. It has few sugars and contains fiber.
But you do
not end your powers here; It is a gift for the heart and for the skin.
Anthocyanins reduce LDL (bad cholesterol) levels, while plant sterols act as
vasodilators and relax veins, which helps to lower blood pressure and improve
circulation, and therefore oxygenation of the blood.
For skin
care. Açaí oil is used in cosmetics: moisturizes the skin and soothes
irritation. In addition, nutrition is from the inside out: the consumption of
açai is reflected in a shiny skin.
It is
attributed many more qualities due to its contribution of vitamin C. In
addition, due to its high content of ellagic acid and polyphenols prevents the
growth of cancer cells at the molecular level. A study published by the
American Cancer Society in 1989 found that it slows the in vitro growth of
prostate cancer cells by up to 80%.
Its
antioxidants slow down cellular oxidation that accompanies aging. Drinking your
juice or applying your oil helps fight hair loss, premature wrinkles, macular
degeneration and cataract formation.
It is
usually commercialized in powder, which allows to easily add it to shakes,
juices, desserts and sticks, although it is also found in juice or oil to apply
on the skin.
Helps to
increase libido. This fruit mixed with maca, helps to increase the sexual
desire. Acai acts by improving the general fluidity of blood in the body. In
this way it strengthens and vivifies all organs.
Here are a
few ideas to take açaí in a simple way.

the ingredients of the Smoothie until a homogeneous mass remains. Distribute
the shake in two jars and decorate with the toppings.
Energy bars
