SAFARI IN INDIA TO SEE TIGERS
After my pilgrimage through India, and never better, because in three days I made more than 22 hours by car, has given me the opportunity to meet the deepest India, the interior and peasants but also nobleman. This is an unknown India as tourists we focus only on the part of large cities, temples, etc ... at least as a first contact with the country.

I've been to two national parks. The first Bhandhavgarh located in the hills of Vindhya the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. It was declared a national park in 1968 and covers an area of 105 km2. It is a relatively small park also has been zoned into three areas, so this makes it a bit tricky to see my target Bengal Tiger. In fact, after three days of Safari do not we get to see.

The second National Park to visit after 6 hour drive on the roads of India, called Kanha National Park.
This park was established in 1955 and is located in the state of Madhya Pradesh with an area of 2000 km2 and is divided into four zones for safaris.
- "For the record, when I speak whale safaris talk about animals since I never understand how people can kill animals for" sport "but hey, this is just my view."

I would like to explain how the issue of reserves safari works here, as there is still curious, and from my point of view, not too appropriate.
Firstly if you decide to visit a nature park for safaris in India to do the booking with 5 months in advance, the dates that you choose are not festive in India because they find all full of domestic tourism and also squares filled safari but if what you want is to "assure" the sighting of the Tiger, you have to come in the summer of India. Thus, the question will not have you seen the Tiger ?, if not How many tigers have seen? With which, if not controláis those little tips you will find that either do not have your turn safaris or watching a bad area.

Because with so long ?, Well, parks, guides and safari cars are controlled by the government as "computers" that are responsible for distributing the areas and places together with hotels, but they (the hotels ) have nothing to do with it.
This system, now explained, was introduced a year and a half or two ago. Reservations are made when the trip is paid or the tour operator has received the money, they spend reservations to hotels so that they pass this information to those responsible for the allocation of places and areas. If done well in advance, the possibility that touch you the best areas for safari will be higher and the variety of them and therefore have more opportunities to see the tiger.

If you do so right time you may not have square, you touch the worst areas or that you always touch the same place (usually the good less) where the chances are not great.

Of the two parks I will recommend Kanha, because it is bigger, because there is possibility to see beautiful landscapes, not only animals, where wildlife is larger and of course, where the chances of seeing the tiger are higher.
We got lucky, and like that in the first park was not a good experience, in the second we saw the Tiger twice four but not only the fate takes sides, also the team driver and guide, without them, it is difficult persecution of the sighting.

Another important thing, at least for me, is the choice of hotel. We were staying at the Chitvan hotel where they naturalist guides, ours was called Amit, a man with great knowledge of flora and fauna, which we learned a lot and good drivers-guide are the keys to follow the tiger by its traces, even when you are spending control of the park entrance you awarded another guide them and luck also counts.

This hotel is built into the jungle in full naturist hotel, but it's better than all the vegetarian food that is eaten in the hotel, is grown by themselves, spices, herbs, cabbage, carrots, lettuce, etc ... it shows in the taste, believe me.
The food is delicious and it is best to adapt the food and Indian style to European customs. Try to adapt to the tastes of each customer and that is appreciated.
Here I found a thousand ways to prepare vegetables, so it seems that every day commas different, certain something is, the help of the combination of spices and herbs help but creation is served.

The hotel is nice and quiet. At night only noise you awake animals. The service is also good and is best which is 5 minutes drive from the park entrance, and that is very important when getting up at 5 in the morning.

Everything is special for us because life and the concept of it is different, the worship of nature and respect for life is huge. Unfortunately we are still a bit away from it or rather lost that respect for many years.

Well here my second experience in India. The return is close and hopefully quieter than coming because everything was an Odyssey.
