ALOE VERA:LA PLANTA QUE NOS CUIDA

Los usos y beneficios del aloe vera o sábila como también se la conoce son muchos y sorprendentes. Antibacteriana y balsámica, tiene propiedades que protegen la piel, el cabello y la salud en general.
El aloe vera la sábila, otro nombre que suele dársele, tiene diferentes aplicaciones: puede ingerirse en forma sólida o en jugo, o puede usarse  tópicamente. El contenido nutricional del aloe vera es  extenso: contiene vitamina A, C, E y B1, B2, B3, B6 y B12.
La sabila también es rica en ácido fólico y en minerales que incluyen calcio, magnesio, zinc, cromo, selenio, potasio y manganeso.
Además de todo esto, el aloe vera contiene un alto porcentaje de aminoácidos bloques de la proteína y de ácidos grasos benéficos para el cuerpo humano. El aloe vera es una de las plantas más utilizadas por los expertos en belleza y salud naturista porque contiene componentes que resultan muy favorables para el tratamiento de algunas enfermedades y para el embellecimiento de la piel y el pelo.

Componentes
Los componentes de aloe vera son múltiples y variados así que hablaremos de los que considero más importantes o alguno de los más importantes.
Aloemodina: regula el funcionamiento de la mucosa intestinal
Aloeleína: mejora úlceras duodenales y estomacales. Disminuye la acidez.
Aloetina: neutraliza el efecto de las toxinas microbianas
Aminácidos: interviene en la formación de proteínas.
Carricina: refuerza el sistema inmune y ayuda a las defensas
Creatinina: resulta fundamental en las reacciones de almacenaje y transmisión de la energía.
Emolina, emodina, barbaloina: generan ácido salicílico de efecto analgésico y antifebril
Fosfato de manosa: agente de crecimiento de los tejidos con efecto cicatrizante.
Minerales: calcio,magnesio, fósforo, potasio, zinc, cobre.
Hormonas vegetales: estimulan el crecimiento celular y la cicatrización
Enzimas: intervienen en la estimulación de las defensas del organismo.

Los nutrientes del aloe vera están presentes en la pulpa de las hojas, en un gel o líquido pegajoso casi transparente. Sus propiedades son muchas pero es conveniente diluir el gel para que no tengan contraindicaciones si se aplican directamente sobre la piel. Por eso también se aconseja utilizarlo en cremas o preparados farmacológicos.

Para quemaduras, heridas leves o picadura de mosquitos: abrir la hoja de la sábila y aplicar el gel directamente sobre la piel. Si la lesión es muy profunda, es preferible esperar unos días  para aplicar el aloe vera.

Para nutrir y suavizar la piel: cortar la hoja de sábila, machacar el gel con una cuchara, mezclarlo con una crema neutra y aplicarlo sobre la piel durante 20 minutos.

No es recomendable para personas con gastritis, hemorroides, colon irritable, reflujo gastroesofágico, colitis ulcerativa, enfermedad de Crohn, apendicitis o cualquier dolor abdominal de causa desconocida.
Para mujeres embarazadas sólo bajo prescripción médica.
El uso como laxante debe limitarse a una o dos semanas, para que el intestino no genere dependencia.
No se recomienda el consumo  en niños menores de 12 años.

Components
The components of aloe vera are many and varied so talk of what I consider most important or one of the most important.

Aloe vera nutrients are present in the pulp sheets in a sticky gel or almost transparent liquid. Its properties are many but you should dilute the gel with no contraindications if applied directly to the skin. That is also why it is advisable to use creams or pharmacological preparations.

For burns, minor wounds or mosquito bites: open aloe leaf and apply the gel directly on the skin. If the lesion is deep, it is better to wait a few days to apply the aloe vera.

To nourish and soften skin: aloe leaf cutting, crushing the gel with a spoon, mix it with a neutral cream and apply it on the skin for 20 minutes.

Not recommended for people with gastritis, hemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, appendicitis or abdominal pain of unknown cause.
For pregnant women only by prescription.
The use as a laxative should be limited to one or two weeks so that the bowel does not create dependency.
Consumption in children under age 12 is not recommended.
