Estoy de vacaciones bien
merecidas. No está bien que
El lugar es la isla de
Providencia. No es fácil llegar pues hay que coger avión a Isla S. Andrés y de
allí una avioneta hasta Providencia, total 20 minutos.
El viaje fue estupendo sin ningún
problema y con ningún retraso en los aviones, vamos lo nunca visto.
La isla es un paraíso, con una
sola carretera que da la vuelta a la isla y tiene unos 18km aproximadamente. Es
una de las islas pobladas más verde que he visto nunca , con una vegetación
exuberante que invita a no salir de ella y quedarse a visitarla para siempre.
Llegamos al hotel-cabañas, un
concepto muy caribeño que no había experimentado nunca pero que me ha gustado
el sistema, sobre todo porque nuestra cabaña estaba frente al mar, tanto así
que para llegar a la playa a bañarnos era solo dar 20 pasos. Increible!!
Pero lo más bonito es dormir
escuchando el mar y sus olas rompiendo en la orilla. Toda la noche, todo el
día, para mi esto es un placer que me hace cargar de energía positiva y
olvidarme de las obligaciones y pesares.

EL primer día empezamos tomando
una buena taza de café y un zumo natural
de guanaba , luego nos fuimos al club de buceo e hicimos nuestras dos
inmersiones matutinas .No estábamos seguros de que nos depararía la experiencia
pues aunque nos comentaron que el lugar era una maravilla, nosotros no lo teníamos muy claro pero la verdad es
que no decepcionó.
La primera inmersión fue en Nick
point donde estuvimos buceando acompañados de tiburones grises y aleta negra.
Fue muy bonita , no solo por las
esponjas de color y los corales y tiburones, había mucha vida, peces de colores
brillantes, sobre todo de color malva pequeño
y otros bastante grandes, si no por todo lo que rodeaba, fue
espectacular!!.
Al salir se había levantado oleaje y no fue muy fácil subir a la barca
pero todo fue bien y al final la inmersión nos dejó buen sabor de boca.
Regresamos otra vez a tierra para cambiar botellas y
descansar para iniciar nuestra segunda inmersión hacia el sur de la isla donde
se encuentran los arrecifes y hacer una inmersión con poca profundidad,
aprovechando que venían varias personas que estaban haciendo un curso de buceo.
La ida fue movida , se levantó
viento y había algo de oleaje que con la
velocidad de la barca iba golpeando.
Llegamos al punto y nos tiramos,
ya que la indicación era tirarnos y esperar al resto de grupo abajo. Así que
eso hicimos. Había corriente por tanto intentamos bucear muy pegados a la arena
pero sin removerla llegando al punto de encuentro. Una vez allí empezó a llegar
el grupo pero decidimos dar la vuelta a la primera isleta de corales y esponjas
llenas de vida y peces. Ese lugar era Raya Point, llamado así porque se
acostumbra a ver rayas y las vímos .
Buceamos hasta ver las tres
islitas llenas de peces, de labios dulces, corales, esponjas y pequeños
tamboriles que con sus colores malvas
eléctricos iluminaban hayan donde se vieran.
Al finalizar la inmersión,
subimos todos juntos pero nos esperaba
un buen oleaje y la espera hasta que los “novatos” subirán, eso hizo que nos
demoráramos durante 20 minutos.
Al final, subimos y la
experiencia mereció la pena.
Al regresar, hacía un buen sol
pero rodeados de tormentas , levantando grandes ventoleras y cayendo una manta
de agua. Luego pasa y sol, y así durante todo el día. Nunca vi nada igual.
He comido y estoy sentada en el
porche de la cabaña viendo el mar y su grandeza, escribiendo relajada y mirando
a un grupo de niños felices, bañándose bajo una tromba de agua pero les da
igual, se ríen , juegan con las olas, y solo tienen una bicicleta y una
pelota, pero suficiente para reírse,
estar fuertes y con gran vitalidad. Aquí no hay más, no es necesario más. Son
fuertes, vitales y felices con bien poco.
Hay que tomar nota de ello pero
mientras, yo también voy a ser feliz contemplando este paraje que dentro de 3
días se termina y tendré que volver a mi
realidad.

DIVING IN PROVIDENCE
I am well-deserved vacation. It is not right
for me to say but it's true so I chose an idyllic location on the
recommendation of a Colombian friend.
The place is the island of Providencia. It is
not easy because you have to catch a plane to San Andrés Island and thence a
plane to Providencia, a total of 20 minutes.
The trip was great no problems and no delays on
airplanes, we'd never seen.
The island is a paradise, with only one road
that goes around the island and has about 18km approx. It is an island
populated greener than I've ever seen, with lush vegetation invites not leave
to visit her and stay forever.
We arrived at the hotel-cabins, a Caribbean
concept that had never experienced but I liked the system, especially since our
cabin was oceanfront, so much so that to get to the beach for a swim was just
giving 20 steps. Incredible !!
But the nicest thing is to sleep listening to
the sea and its waves breaking on the shore. All night, all day, for me this is
a pleasure that makes me positive energy load and forget about the obligations
and regrets.
THE first day we started taking a good cup of
coffee and a natural juice guanaba, then we went to the diving club and made
our two morning dives .Do we were sure that await us experience because although
we noted that the place was wonderful , we did not quite sure but the truth is
that not disappointed.
The first dive was at Nick diving point where
we were accompanied by gray and black fin sharks.
It was beautiful, not only by the color sponges
and corals and sharks, had much life, brightly colored fish, especially small
and others large enough mauve, if not everything around was spectacular !!.
Leaving surf was up and it was not easy to get
into the boat but everything went well and end the dive left us dissappointed.
We return again to earth to change bottles and
rest to start our second dive to the south of the island where the reef and
make a shallow dive, taking advantage came several people who were making a
diving course.
The round was moved, wind arose and had some
waves with the speed of the boat was pounding.
We got to the point and lounged, since the
indication was shooting us and wait for the rest of the group down. So we did.
It was running so try snorkeling very attached to sand but without removing
coming to the meeting point. Once there began to reach the group but decided to
turn back to the first island of coral and sponge full of life and fish. That
place was Raya Point, so called because it is common to see streaks and saw.
We dive to see the three small islands full of
fish, sweet lips, corals, sponges and small drums with its mauve colors where
electrical illuminating have seen.
After the dive, we went together but we
expected a good wave and wait until the "newbies" will rise, that
made demoráramos us for 20 minutes.
In the end, we went and experience worth it.
Upon returning, but made a nice sun surrounded
by storms, rising and falling gusts large blanket of water. He then goes and
sun, and so throughout the day. I never saw anything like it.
I have eaten and am sitting on the porch of the
cabin watching the sea and its greatness, writing relaxing and watching a group
of happy children, bathing under a downpour but do not care, laugh, play with
the waves, and only have a bike and a ball, but enough to laugh, be strong and
with great vitality. Here are no more, it is not needed. They are strong, vital
and happy with very little.
We must take note of it but meanwhile, I'll
also be happy watching this place that within three days is completed and have
to go back to my reality.
