THE IMPORTANCE OF WHOLE GRAINS
As is known, cereals are a staple in the diet of virtually all peoples and civilizations and today a strategic value appreciated by military planners as financial speculators.

Fiber and nutritional value
Our body can not digest fiber, but it passes through the entire digestive tract, fermented, and is then excreted in the feces. As a component that is not absorbed, for years has despised the nutritional value of whole, thinking it was of no use to the body. However, scientists and population studies have shown that whole grains have certain characteristics that provide many health benefits.
Whole grains provide us carbohydrates carbon, which are a good source of energy for the body, especially the nervous system. The carbohydrates consist of glucose, the main food of neurons to the point that, without glucose, the brain can not function. Whole grains, which are absorbed slowly and are rich in glucose, providing food for the brain for hours.

When sufficient carbohydrate is taken in the morning, that deficit, causes the brain to work with little glucose in the blood and the concentration harder in class.

Rich in essential fatty acids
Whole grains, like brown rice, contain one of the most valuable parts of the grain: the germ. The germ of cereals is very rich in essential fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6 which our body uses to reduce inflammation (arthritis), improve blood vessel health models (poor circulation), and to reduce bad cholesterol.
Source of vitamin E and zinc
It also contains vitamin E with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, which improve the health of all body cells.
The whole grain is also rich in zinc, a trace mineral that hardly arrived at the daily amounts needed a diet without whole grains and seafood.
Whole grains are digested better because all kernel components collaborate in the digestive process. They are rich in flavonoids as phytic acid with potent antioxidant properties for the manufacture of cerebral neurotransmitters.

Wheat and child development
A diet high in wheat contribute to the decline of many of today's trends, such diseases as anemia, chronic infections, constipation, asthma, nervous disorders, cardiovascular, etc ...
Children can also take advantage of the properties of wheat facing a harmonious and healthy growth.
The early use of wheat flour may cause cases of celiac disease. Overuse of flour (especially highly refined) in infants can also lead to problems of the "farinaceous dystrophy."

VERY RICH IN VITAMIN B FOOD
Grains contain mostly vitamin B, which are important for digesting carbohydrates and have valuable energy functions. Among the major vitamins, gives us:

• Thiamin: Helps convert carbohydrates into energy, optimizing energy they bring us.
• Niacin nerves. It is also important for the conversion of food into energy.
• Pyridoxine: helps release energy from carbohydrates and assists in the formation of red blood cells.

For this reason, once again insist that cereal consumption is vital as the main source of energy dictates.
