(English) PATHS IN GALICIA: HIGH FORTANDIÓN
This August I went to Galicia, as usual, but this time I made many trips to the wonderful trails that this land has, using the temperature is very good, about 25 degrees.
On August 16th I made a beautiful hike and I recommend it if you go to Galicia (NW Spain).
This time I discovered the concello A Capela. Some people and I had talked about it but ... I can say that it fell short of the landscape that gives you is indescribable.
In this area there are many trails of varying difficulty, so there is something for everyone but us (Antonio, Toño and I) decided to take the path of FORTANDION HIGH (As Pontes), in Fragas Eume, thanks to the soil fertility has returned to repopulate in nature, leaving few traces of fire and so terrible that suffered.
Well, it's a non-circular path (as you can see in the sketch attached), which either have two cars or do we have to return, but care can be quite hard.

Features:
Total trail (one way): approx 6km.
Hinder: Media
Time: 3 hours approx.
Heights High: 665mt
Height Min: 60mt

As I said, we were not being circulated with two cars, one we left in the town of As Neves (In Ventureira hydroelectric) and second in Goente we left, which was where we started the walk. Why? Why is the top and down the difficulty level, you know me, if not essential, do not complicate life.
To find the starting point (Goente) follow the road, once entered Goente, continue past the gas station, because you have to look to the left, there is a sign saying "D'EUME Encoro" because well as you see this display, turn on your right. Once we are in the county must continue until you reach a point where we find another small indication that says "O Gallee" is that point we leave the car and start walking.
Do not forget to always follow trail.
Well it started and decided to lengthen the walk a little more up and opting for the truck "A", as our friend Toño, told us we could see wild horses, so we started walking we encounter with a moderate climb but "chewy" following signs two stripes one white, one blue, and a few meters we continue to see the wild horses reddish precious, as you can see in the photo (up
Here we had 45 min.). Once spotted, we decided to undo the road and walked back to point "B" again, continuing the lighter path but the path following signs (a short wooden stick with a walker) "OJOOOO".
We had a splendid day, with sun and wind that allowed us to see the different landscapes that offered us the place, as you can see in the pictures.
First, we find wild horses, was a landscape of bush and rock although some pines but were in low vegetation.
We continue TEIXIDO address for a dirt track but then led to a paved trail gradually Entering the long-awaited Fragas Eume, finding native ferns and flowers, chestnut, eucalyptus ... a wonder to behold and smell. Continue along the tarmac leaving some houses on the right and a few meters we find, on the left, the narrow path of Fraga, definitely leaving the tarmac.
As we begin this new path is a narrow little path, we went into the woods where a part of the flora I mentioned earlier, we find many eucalyptus to dizzying heights. That day the wind blew hard and listened to the rocking of the treetops with a noise seemed a waterfall but the trees were actually touching each other, it was an amazing show. As we went down the narrow little road was changing flora and popping eucalyptus leaving chestnut, yew, walnut ... until you get to the waterfalls where we find fig and mulberry coming near the end of the tour ending where we left the first vehicle.
Hope you like it fascinated me. Deputy photographs by our colleague Toño Martinez
